Crikey, Ter-Roo-ists coming to Canberra

Recommended Posts

Driving my wife to Moruya Hospital 6.30am this morning, 35 km trip, I ran over a fresh road kill ROO, now I have to go and hit the underside of the Camry with the old high pressure hose. Did not see any bears on Princes Hwy. :')

Bears as in Cops or the US/Canadian wildlife?

What's the difference between South Coast and normal Droppies??clear.png?emoji-grin-1677
South Coast Bears sometimes just run out from the bush on the side of the Princes Hwy, not always dropping down from the gum trees like the normal Australian Drop Bear.

Just beware if travelling down here, the roo bars on your vehicle will not deflect the bears.:loudcry:

You should see the animals we get on the roads up here. Moose, deer , elk and bears(2 kinds).

Indeed, having been to Canada, you have some wild things running around there. That is why you need the RCMP.

The grizzly is the most interesting to watch as the way search for food in old logs. They don't leave much of the log.

Do they partake of a cold Molson's ? Or even a glass of Canadian Club on the rocks?

How come the Mogo Zoo does not have South Coast Droppies in captivity?clear.png?emoji-winktongue-1704

I have a friend who works there as a volunteer guide, perhaps I could sponsor a drop bear for Mogo Zoo. They will fit in well down there.

Because they cannot be kept in captivity, they are true escape artists and very cunning. If you manage to capture one and keep them in something they cannot escape from they become docile and pretend to be like an everyday koala until they see their opportunity to escape.:D
