b) blackjack minimums and rules? Can be as low as $5 or as high as $15 depending on how busy they are.

BlackJack tables are typically $6 min for the shoe table. That can be split with some on the side bet. So $5 main bet, $1 side bet is OK.

The single deck game can be $5 to $25 min bet depending on how busy.

Now, both tables pay 6 to 5. Dealer hits Soft 17. You can double after splitting and resplit.

no 3:2 blackjack??! :(

In regards to video poker, the paytable for Jacks or Better is 6/5 for $.25 and increases to 7/5 for $1 & $2.

There is 3:2 blackjack if you play at a $15 min table $25, $50, $100 etc... If you play at a $5 or $10 table it is 6:5.. If your a serious blackjack player do not play at the $5 or $10 table. You will be sitting with people who don't know how to play and jump In and out of the game and its quite annoying.

Nope. The single deck game used to pay 3 to 2, but was a $25 minimum bet.

And if you play $6 on the shoe table, the BJ payout is $7, so they short you an additional 20 cents.

When did you last see this?

On Grandeur in August, the single deck table said 6 to 5 ON THE TABLE. The year before it said 3 to 2.

Forget the other people - no serious blackjack player would ever play at a 6:5 table.

The only 6:5 on Celebrity is single deck - the shoe games are always 3:2. I'm really surprised to see this.

  • 4 weeks later...

fstuff1, we have an active roll call for this sailing. Someone wants to do a slot pull. There's over 150 people registered for the Meet 'n Mingle. Norberts Niece has a google doc with everyone's info on it (pre-cruise meal, post-cruise hotels, activities, private excursions, etc)
