Can you pre-order items from The Fun Shops for in cabin enjoyment that are not listed on the website but are most definitely served/sold on-board?

Examples: Budweiser beer, J.Walker Black or Blue

The OP is asking about stuff not listed on the website, but is undoubtedly available once on board. S/he said so explicitly.

 

OP, maybe try calling the Funshops?  Look under "need help" on the website for the number.

thanks for the reply's.  Have not made a phone call yet.  That will be my next step if no one on CC can provide useful insights, tips, tricks, and/or contacts.

I login to Carnival... Manage my cruise... login and go to Fun Shops...

There is an option for In-Stateroom Beverages.

Beer and Liquor listed.

I did not see any Johnny Walker on the Liquor list though.

Bud Light was definitely listed.

Exactly - no Johnnie Walker and no regular ole Budweiser on the website.............Although once on board, you can get regular ole Budweiser at the various bars. And Johnnie Walker is sold in the ONBOARD shops.  My issue is I want both of these ready and in the cabin at embarkation.

As far as beer, I think you may be better off getting a "bucket of beer" at one of the bars, ask them to fill the bucket with ice, and haul it to your cabin for when you want it. As far as booze, order ahead, but realize the outrageous price you will pay. (But, if you do the math, it's still a bit cheaper per ounce than the bar price)

The funshops are becoming less fun. Non caring sales people that lack interest in being there, much less helping someone.

The beer will come warm and the fridges hardly will make it drinkable. You don’t save any money. Buy a bucket like was suggested.

Yes, you can purchase Johnnie Walker in the Fun Shops on board but you won't get it until the day you leave the ship.  The only scotch you can order are the ones you see online.  I order each time I sail and don't know of any tricks.
