What level do you have to be to get a free cruise?

Amethyst for a guaranteed free cruise (25,000 points).

However in reality you'll probably get an offer on board (and more later at home) if you do some power play on days 1,2,3 (normally Day 3 is when the offers come to the cabin during the day).

As I wrote elsewhere, I usually play with a bankroll of ~ $1200 on the slots, doing small bets of $1.50-$2 per spin. I'm expecting to fully lose that money but so far this size of bankroll played in the first two days has always resulted in a free cruise offer for me.

The bonus: Since you book this on board you can ask the Future Cruises staff to check for Aqua Class rather than standard balcony and the upsell is often marginal ($140 instead of full comp).

There is no such thing as Emerald with Blue Chip. You have to tab your card on the machine whenever you play in order to track your activity. Same for table games. Although the tracking at the tables and the conversation to points is sketchy at times, the machines track entirely accurate.

I do realise that, I was just being facetious! Seriously though we both play the tables, never the machines most nights when onboard so I would have expected to be higher than pearl.

I have talked to and watched people who play $50/hands all the damn time throughout the cruise and the never got beyond Onyx. Their table tracking sucks and I hate such arbitrary systems.

Somehow the casino thinks that you have. Has anyone else maybe used your card at a slot machine?

I recently made onyx and started getting BCC offers of 50% off on the EQ all summer long.  Summit too.

I think it's a hoot a pre-COVID thread got brought back to life 3 years later.

The freeplay based on the last cruise's gaming activity should be loaded to your promotional balance automatically. If you can't see it talk to the host or cashier. The digital photo package fee will be waived, just tell the staff at the photo shop that you're eligible based on Amethyst.

For the annual free cruise benefit you call up BCC, no need to wait for a mailer.

Priority Embarkation isn't available right now afaik, we have to adhere to the slots we get assigned.

how do I find their contact number?

We have “Pearl” on our boarding pass also and have never gambled in the casinos onboard other than the slots a few times.  When we do, we always use cash, so I don’t think they would even know who we are, let alone give us Pearl status.  Go figure!

We have always assumed it is just the lowest level there is and you get it automatically after your first cruise. On our last TA we used our card for the Slot Pull and deposited $1200 cash into the machine and even that had no effect on our status.

If you've every played bingo or Deal or No Deal - that also counts as casino play since it is administered through the casino
