Nieuw Statendam sail away, Jan. 30 at 5:00pm

Didn't see a sail away for today's Nieuw Statendam cruise. 

It's just a short sweet 3 day event, but I'm guessing it will be fun.

Good catch.  It doesn't seen to be mentioned in any of the cruise listings.  I believe this is the Oprah "Girlfriends" cruise before the dedication.

Yes, it's the O cruise. Think there are back in port on Feb. 2 and next sailing is on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Cherry pickers are rented by the ships and used by the sailors for washing, cleaning and painting (where allowed). If your eagle eyes saw them adding a banner, my guess is, it has to do with the "friends of O" charter. They've done that sorta thing before however, usually, a banner is just attached to the railing on P-Deck
