Does vifp expire

We just got our confirmation for our cruise and it has us listed as blue level despite us cruising for 8 days in 2013.

No, it doesn't expire. Go to the VIFP page and there's a place where you can report a missing cruise. They will ask for some information about it and get back to you when it's added. We were able to add one that was missing from way back in the 1990's.

Nope. We haven’t been on a Carnival cruise since 2012 and it still shows us as Platinum.

 

You may want to double check and confirm you have the correct numbers on your reservation. If it is the correct one, you may need to report a missing cruise.

Make sure you don't have 2 VIFP numbers, that was the case when DH booked our first cruise after our hiatus and somehow he ended up with 2 VIFP numbers when he created an account to do the booking. We called Carnival and they fixed it in a matter of minutes.

I had to do this once and they got my problem straightened out  within a day or two.

Unlike many hotel and airline miles, Carnival VIFP points don't currently expire. If your name doesn't exactly match your prior cruise, Carnival may have generated you a new number.

Ah! Yeah, I forgot that's why DH had 2 VIFP numbers, he had taken my last name and used his new name to book our cruise in 2017 and his first cruise in 2010 was in his "maiden" name.

Voyage Numbers, Cabin numbers, Destinations - everything!

It'll look like this, if you can find it ... VI20081102003

 

They can't argue with what records I have, bcoz it's all their stuff anyway!
And it's also on a thumb drive I walk with everywhere, even on cruises.
