That maybe for the best, they seem to play differently when he is in the side.

Swans were behind to the Roos at quarter time by 9 points - 1.4 (10) to  3.1 (19).

big second quarter by the Swans to lead at half time by 21 points  - 8.6 (54) to 5.3 (33).

3/4 quarter time the swans extend the lead to 27 points - 10.10 (70) to 6.7 (43).

Swans just holding on by 5 points, with the Roos finishing well Swans 11.11 (77) to the Roos 10.12 (72).

The Bombers even had a win! Yah! Terrible game but I'd rather win ugly than lose.

Both still could make the 8 but both will have to keep winning and it could depend on the results of other games.

Essendon (Bombers) are 1 game out of the 8 at the moment and the Swans 2.
