Nsteph3 Posted April 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2019 (edited) I called my TA today because the fares for my cruise have dropped a little and I wanted to see if I could get some refunded. She called HAL and they weren’t able to refund me but gave me a complimentary upgrade from a verandah to a SZ guarantee. I decided to take it! We leave in 18 days, when are rooms typically assigned? DaveOKC Posted April 17, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2019 Congrats on your upgrade! You will love your Signature Suite - they are so large, especially the bathrooms.

DeeniEncinitas Posted April 17, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2019 I was going to ask the same question? What ship? I think getting the SZ cabin upgrade is 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Have a great cruise. Denise😊
RedmondCruiser Posted April 17, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 17, 2019 We have booked an SZ guarantee several times. We never got an SZ room. We always got an SY or SS, and a few times we got both an SA and an SB upgrade. Hope you luck out.

But the only real difference between SZ and SS is the location. Good luck! Edited April 17, 2019 by catl331

DaveOKC Posted April 17, 2019 #14 Share Posted April 17, 2019 IMO, take the angled balcony one.
