P nom. He wouldAgain date and time unknown....I think it’s Sunday....

Very late start to the day did not wake up until 11 AM that is unheard of for me. I’m repeat another lazy day on the ship. We saw the entertainment tonight it was a singer who used to sing in La Miz I London, He was terrific I would see him again. My friend Sharon is not feeling well so she went to the cabin and I came to the martini bar and I was the only one here at 10 o’clock at night somethings wrong with that picture as well.  Here are today’s dailies .

I am reasonably certain it’s Monday May 6. Bryan James continues to amaze us with his singing. Last night we saw Nik Page, he was very very good. We will be lucky enough to see him in a couple of days. I am officially relaxed, I didn’t roll out of bed toll almost 11am yesterday and after 9am today.

apparently we we docked in Russia 2 of the entertainers were not allowed through by immigration and another entertainer an emergency had to leave the ship. Since we are now short 2 entertainers, they have asked the entertainers to fill in and and preform additional evenings. All the entertainers have been good so no disappointment there.

Today lots of fog, but the sun  is now trying to peak through. Now time for a nap......

I just want to thank you for posting every day! We will be getting on Millennium in Seward on the 17th, it will be our first Celebrity Cruise.  I've enjoyed learning a little about the ship through your experience. Enjoy the rest of your journey!

Tuesday May 7 at sea. Not much to report relaxing shooting the breeze with people. Again wonderful table mates at dinner. I must be relaxed as I continue to sleep in. People are enjoying the casino, crew absolutely fantastic.

love the redesign of the Oceanview Cafe, however not sure why the placed the bread station on the opposite end from where most of the food is. All seating has been comfortable ever the high tables.  I wish I could report more on the Sunset bar too cold, rainy and windy to go out, frankly I don’t even know if they have it open. As we approach Vancouver I hope I will be able to give more information.

Do you know what the Persian Garden costs per day or week? What amenities do they have?

 

We have some onboard credit and are considering checking that out, but there are no prices online.

My suggestion would be to go there once you board, I think they have  both daily and weekly rates, however as I understand people in Aqua have priority.

Lakegirl and  dporter no word as who will be on next week, however for our cruise we lost 2 entertainers one to Russian immigration, rumor they might join in Vancouver, issue one had to leave due to emergency. I know the show band that backs up the entertainers is leaving in Vancouver. Wish I could provide more info.

Wednesday May 8, we are finally on pacific time Yea!!!!!

sunshine and blue sky today. Last night Nik Page performed and loved his singing. They had Motown up in the Sky lounge, never saw it that busy. Singers and dancers were singing and dancing then the regular band played and guest were invited to join in. It was a lot of fun. 

I was invited to dine in Luminae for lunch today by Vince along with another passenger named Minnie from  Japan, delightful meal and even better company, thank you Vince!! Service was  impeccable.

Tonight is the last Chic night, tomorrow we arrive in Victoria BC.

The topic of our arrival in Vancouver BC on Friday has been discussed several times, apparently there will be 3 ships docking at Canada Place at the same time. What it boils down to is a huge traffic jam of people,  buses and taxi’s, expect lines and waits. Does not sound fun, however people are now aware so no surprises there. Glad I am on the BKB.

Kind of makes sense that they would change entertainment anyway because of the start of the Alaska season.

Is this a new country they travel to? British Colombia? Perhaps near one of the other two Mexicos?

 British Columbia is part of Canada and British Columbia borders the US with the border of Washington state.

Thursday May 9 It’s a glorious day in Victoria BC. The sun is out it’s blue sky and it’s actually warm, 66 degrees to be exact. People have been really anxious to get off the ship to many Sea days for some people. Today is the big day for the lifeboat and safety drill for the crew all Crew are involved.

Last night was Chic  night everybody looked beautiful men in suits women and gowns short cocktail dresses.  As usual they had lobster it was delicious and then we moved onto the sky lounge after dinner had a great time dancing talking everyone’s a little sad that the cruise is going to be over very shortly. The Chris stuff is still preparing passengers that there will be three ships import in Vancouver tomorrow.

the Ruby Princess pulled into the dock next to us about 9:00am.

 I did get off the ship this morning briefly so I could take a couple of pictures but it was really nothing I wanted to see and it was very windy or I would’ve stayed off the ship for a little bit longer
