It’s not finished. They are now heading to Scotland. I will be alongside the ship on Tuesday.

Yes.

Out of Iceland we had 4.5 meters high waves and rocking all sea day. 

Ivergordon we missed because of strong wind. We were there but didn’t Sailed in. 

 

Today Scotland newhaven / edinburgh we tender and made it. Immigration was at the first sea day after Iceland on board. 

Found a Heidi machine. At some you can choose the games. heidi was good yesterday to me. Started we 3 Dollars, ended with 75 dollars. I‘ m sure to lose it tonight. The sound at the free games is amazing 🙂

I’m now back at my way back to the port. We were earlier in port and have an hour or two longer. They used their own tender boats and a bigger from the port here. 

Enjoyd the day in Edinburgh today and visited Britannia.

Glad you enjoyed your time in Scotland. They have still not announced everything that was done on the refurb which is strange as it does appear quite a lot has been done.

Last day, sea day and arriving in Copenhagen at 4pm with overnight. 

 

Glow party was in atrium love the intro and  the lightning spears. 

Yestarday i was at Million Dollar Quartett. Saw it at escape some years ago. I liked it, great singers/ actors. Do a reservation before if you are sailing getaway. 

 

And at the night it was very foggy. You didn’t saw anything and they blown the horn.

 

today beautiful day. We are between Denmark an Sweden at the moment. At the one site Denmark at the other Sweden. 

 

And you see the open door? At our third day I wrothe a letter at the mailbox at guest service. Then it was sometime open and sometimes not and then most time open. Sadly not in geiranger. Will

be interesting how they handle this at the coming Baltic’s cruises.

Can you tell me about the tender on Getaway? Is it a long flight of stairs or a ramp. If stairs about how many. I have limited mobility and can handle a short flight, but not a long one.

Pics says more then words.  

That are the stairs that we had to walk down to get into the tender boat. 

Not sure what you mean with long flight. Only stairs, no big gap at our cruise.

Thanks for the pictures. We have been on the Getaway 3 or 4 times before and get  on it again in 5 weeks. Also just saw the TA  cruise in April 2021 and looked like a great 18 night cruise so just booked that one also.

Thank you! That shows me exactly what I need to know. That length of stairs is just barely doable for me. I’ll be huffing and puffing by the time I get to the top, but I can make it.

If you want a front view at the top

deck you have to book haven. Bliss vibe has no front view and I think joy  either.  ( and encore 2021 ).
