An unfornate death in Barbados...

Not sure if this may have been mentioned already?

but in case it has not, here is a link to my local island-newspaper

reporting an unfortunate drowning while Grandeur of the Seas was in port.

 

A 65-yr-old American man:

His body was found floating in the water

and was brought ashore by three unknown individuals...

which might indicate a heart-attack, rather than 'getting into difficulties'?

Sad. Unfortunately we never realize how often this type thing happens, natural or accident. Over the yrs have had 7-8 pass away from my Cruises.  Cant Imagine loosing Family member in Foreign Port far from home...

 

Yes we have lost four cruisers through the years, one was a drowning on our shore excursion two were health problems and one was uncertain.
