dandtgeddes Posted January 2, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2020 Gidday fellow cruisers 😀 Just got asked about the fabulous Peek A Boo Bridge area. Can't find it on plans, more cabins. Gym down to almost a quarter of what it was, no Johnny Rockets, Hibachi, Jamies, Playmakers or Tiki bar. Beginning to wonder what the AMP in amped was all about... Chiliburn Posted January 2, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2020 It’s gone along with half the running track. But there’s more people.
Rare John&LaLa Posted January 2, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) Spent two weeks on Adventure last month Partially amped Never used peek a boo, in fact, it negatively impacted the view from our cabin Never went to gym, or jogged on running track Never went to JR's I did enjoy the slides I am surprised that Voyager didn't get any new dining options, though Edited January 2, 2020 by John&LaLa

That panoramic OV suite now looks down into the balconies of the new cabins with a high glass wall on ships like Navigator or Voyager. Can't imagine that's a stellar view either.

Gotcha, so the deck 11 balconies look up like this.🤔

The new forward facing balconies exist where the people in your other picture were standing. They are tunnel balconies with high glass dividers on each side and a high glass wall on the front to shelter from the wind. For perspective, the railing that used to be in front of the Peek A Boo area can be seen in this picture. This is at the new glass wall of the forward facing balconies. Turning around and looking up would be exactly what you would see in your picture looking into the Panoramic Suite. Anyone lounging on their balcony would be in full view from the Panoramic OV Suite.

Well, i guess its just 2-3 families vs potentially the whole ship🍍🍍

brad_p Posted January 3, 2020 #13 Share Posted January 3, 2020 *sigh* I'm a little bit disappointed about my upcoming cruise on Voyager after hearing about these negative changes. I knew the Amp was coming when booking and was hoping for more positive additions rather than detractions 😞

It’s ok if you don’t agree, but you’re the lone wolf saying you aren’t affected. We get it, you don’t work out or utilize some of the venues people miss. Most of the people commenting do. I don’t care about Johnny Rockets or peek-a-boo bridge, but clearly some people do, just like some people don’t care about the new gyms being *****, but I do. You’d probably be frustrated if they greatly reduced or got rid of the casino, CK, SL, etc.
