Kids sail free/Lift and Switch restriciton?

Has anyone with a kids sail free rate tried a lift and switch? Ours is in early Sept and our kids also booked but with the with the kids sail free promotion. Would we be able to switch to August 2021, within 4 weeks since they don't ever have kids sale free in August? Thank you

The KSF would have to be available for the sailing date you're considering.

Yes you can do a lift and shift to a date that is not listed under KSF.  All promotions carry over. 
 

it even carries over if your child is 12 this year and 13 next year.

How would you even know this far ahead?

 

By next year I don’t know how you would know what promotions will be on offer. Whilst August is unlikely to have kids sail free “officially” if year round schooling comes in all bets are off.

Can you lift and shift from a Kids Sail Free sailing this fall to one that isn't KSF yet but would be under normal KSF promo (the 2021 sailing isn't usually a blackout date).

Yes, and it can even be switched to a sailing that does not normally fall under KSF

same # of  days, same itinerary type, within the 4 week window...should be fine

If somebody has managed to make the lift and shift to a cruice without the kids sail free offer and still get the kids sail free -price please let us know!

I’m going to try later today..but my loft and shift is normally a ksf date when the promo is out in the beginning of December so not sure it will help you!

I booked a new reservation this past Wednesday Oasis 9/6/20 KSF.  Moved the reservation on Friday to Oasis 8/22/21 and kept all promotions.  So got to do lift and shift on a new reservation and keep KSF.

WOW...So you can change a KSF cruise to one that normally isn't and get the KSF ??? When did this happen?

It’s always been that way with the Lift and shift.
