How many formal nights on a 10 day cruise?

Been 6 years since we have been on Princess and wondering how many formal nights on a 10 day cruise.

With current restrictions only allowing 7 day sailings, I don't think you have to worry about how many formal nights there will be on a 10 day cruise.

Well considering it isn't until Nov. 2021 I hope I can worry about it.

1 - 4 Days = 0
5 - 6 Days = 1
7 - 13 Days = 2
14 - 20 Days = 3
21 - 28 Days = 4
29+ Days = 5 Minimum

Your itinerary includes 2 formal nights and 4 smart casual nights. Formal nights tend to occur on sea days. However, since exceptions can happen, it's always a good idea to check your Patter for details.

Does not apply to the OP's 10 day cruise, but for those who have a 14 day cruise that really is two 7-day B2B cruises, there will be 2 formal evenings each segment for a total of 4 formal evenings, not the 3 shown in the above chart.

 

The fantastic Princess computer system will not detect that a 14-day B2B cruise with one booking number has the 4 formal evenings.

Actually, we have 2 10 day cruises booked for a total of 20 days b2b.  I am assuming it will be 4 formal nights total?
