Rare dronnygirl Posted December 25, 2020 #7 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Merry Christmas! It feels very different this year as we are on our own but so are many others. Hopefully not too long before we can have the vaccine and then look to the future. Here's to a very different 2021!

nancyneptune Posted December 31, 2020 #10 Share Posted December 31, 2020 Well it's that time of year again when we all look back on the year, and what a year it has been. So much sadness and dreams lost. Let's hope 2021 will bring hope that this dreadful virus will be conquered and life can get back to some kind of normal soon. Looking forward to getting back to cruising again although I still think that will be some time away yet and will be quite different from what we are used to. Thinking of all the crew and entertainers who have been so badly affected by all this. Hope to meet up with them again in the future. My wish for future cruising is that Marella could get back to the way Thomson used to be. A choice of whether to have AI or not. AI doesn't suit everyone. More cruises from regional airports. There's a lot less choice now compared with a few years ago. More staff. The crew work really hard but service can be very slow. Not the fault of the crew. There's just not enough of them. Better quality of food in the MDR. Quality and quantity has suffered since the speciality restaurants were introduced. Finally wishing all of you a very HAPPY, HEALTHY & PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR. Stay home and stay safe 🍾 🍷🥂 🍹 🍺
ormy Posted December 31, 2020 #11 Share Posted December 31, 2020 Totally agree with all your comments - Happy New Year to all. I don't think we will be cruising until everything is back to normal, if that ever happens

Pensioncruiser Posted December 31, 2020 #14 Share Posted December 31, 2020 Great time's don't think we will ever return to the Thomson era but, fortunately, we have the memories.
