Here's how to see if you have any casino cash available

My first offer was dated about 12/16.  I got a second offer dated 12/28. The first casino cash benefit was applied to a 10/22 cruise not booked with BSE.  I just called my TA to see if the 12/28 casino cash could be applied to an 8/22 cruise if I cancel and rebook. Cruise price is the sam as I booked. The 2 offers have a different code on each.  The answer was yes, but only if I book the BSE price.  I don't think we will do that as we drink very little and get Elite privileges.

I’m curious to know why? Did they say?

No.  It might depend on the Princess agent.  On the 10/22 booking I had to call Princess 3 times before I got on would add the complimentary dinner.  They kept telling me I had to book BSE to get it.  I knew that was wrong.  The third agent was good and did it with no problem.  I did not know she also added the Casino cash until a few days later.

Please post if you get your 12/28 free cash offer added to rebooking without BSE

I’m not sure what offer we used but it was a new flyer with the BSE promotion and we didn’t upgrade.

We did have an issue getting the dining added and had an experience with a bad operator who didn’t apply the casino offer correctly to our reservation.

i would call back

Yes, I have found a way to check other cruises for the casino discount.

Save your Princess Casino email

Click on check available cruises

When that page comes up and maybe on the upper right you see 110 cruises.  Click below that where it says "reset filters"

Select your cruise.   You should have a black bar at the top that says "Casino" in the middle.  Click on that for casino prices.  You should see a red line on the left that says

"casino prices"

Select your cruise.  When you pick out your cabin you should see new casino price

I have done that for a while.  What it usually does is pull up all cruises and apply the discount (see chart shared in this thread) on the final screen where you would actually purchase the cruise.  In other words, it's the same thing as if someone at Princess or a TA entered the "CASINO" code in your booking.  What this won't do though it show you $0 fares on cruises where a free cabin is offered.  You can only do that through a TA.  But it's helpful to know and share the tips we've learned over the years, so thank you for detailing the steps that can be taken to find the final pricing!

I just checked the applicable cruises on the December 16th email offer vs. the December 28th email offer.  Both have $250 in free play plus a free interior cabin and the free stateroom is offered three times but each email has different offer codes.  The December 16th offer is applicable to 25 cruises and the December 28 offer is applicable to 110 cruises.  Very odd because the text makes it seem like it's the same offer.

My offer was just for the one with discounts and the free play, no free cabin

I’d still call back the casino line and double check  with a new operator.
The BSE seems to be an optional payment upgrade...not a requirement.

I called back and spoke to a guy who said I had a bunch of casino offers listed for casino cash in the past.  Too bad I did not know. He also had my $300 offer which I booked on the 10/22 cruise.  He said the BSE is not necessary.  I do not have it on that cruise.  What I don't understand is that the 12/16 offer and the 12/28 offer have different promotion numbers.  That makes me think I have 2 $300  offers, but he said he only could see one offer to be used one time.  I am really grateful to have that offer but did not want to leave one sitting there expiring if I really did have 2 promotions and 2 offers.

Just got off the phone with a different Princess rep who was very helpful. I guess my PVP was right about not being able to apply the casino fare reduction to our Alaska cruise tour for May 29, 2022 on the Grand Princess. The fine print states for "select" cruises. Our Alaskan cruise is one of those cruises that doesn't work with the casino fare reduction. She said other cruises could apply. Well you win some and you lose some. Better luck next time! :classic_biggrin:

We had the same situation with our cruise tour, although a friend of ours was able to get a reduction on the cruise because she is doing only the cruise and not the tour.  Doesn't make sense to me but oh well.

You can always check your account on Princess to see what free play offers are active.  Just log in, go to My Account and click on Future Cruise Credits.  Then click on Onboard Credits.  The next screen indicates any free play offers that are available to you.  It also indicates the expiration date for booking a cruise that the free play can be applied to.  Hope this helps!

Yes, I have done that and the only free cash offer showing is the one I already used.  That should be correct.  However, when I talked to the Princess agent in the support group he mentioned several other free play offers I have that I do not see in my account.  They are for cruises in 2021 that I don't intend to book anyway, so that are of no concern.  It sounds like not all offers make it to my account.  I think I will just give up.

Well if the offer involves free play, they only appear on your account while the offer is valid.  Once the booking time expires, it it will no longer be listed when you check your onboard credits.  And you will not always get an email or reg mailing with the offer specifics.  They like to keep us guessing!  I make a point of looking at my account very frequently.

I received a casino discount E-mail from Princess with $100.00 free play. I tried following the directions above to see the discounted rates on a cruise I would select, but no luck. I can't get "Casino" on the upper black bar to show up in the middle or anywhere. Any advice is appreciated.

Free play offers and casino rates are two different things.

If your email states that you get both, click on the link in the email if there is one. If not, call Princess or your TA.

Instead of going to the Princess website by typing in princess.com,  use that email you received and click on that.  It takes you to the Princess site and you should see the black header.

I found to get the casino rate by going thru the email, I had to be already signed in on princess.com and then click on the email.

This is exactly what we have to do.  If we just click on the email without being signed in first, it doesn't work.  And if I just sign in to the website without using the link in the email, it doesn't work that way either.  But if I go to the website and sign in first, then go to the email and click the link, it opens a new tab with me already signed in and that will allow me to search for cruises with the casino rate.

Interestingly, the email link I had been using just stopped working this morning.  It was supposed to expire on March 2, but it was still working and applying the discount up until today.

The casino offers that were to expire on March 2 were extended to March 31 along with the BSE promotion being extended.  Some of us were notified about the extended casino offer by email (my husband) and others were not (me and many others).  But I believe anyone that had the previous offer now has the extended offer.

I just tried to check my prices for booked cruises and suddenly am not seeing the casino discount.  Until now the method outlined above has always worked.  It says in a red line that I am getting the casino price but I am not.  Anyone else having that problem?

Interesting.  We never got an email saying it was extended so I just thought it was an oversight.  This is what I get when I click on the email link now:  image.thumb.png.48bdd59847e80dd4a4d82c3e0bd14899.png
