Wait time for a confirmation email

Earlier this evening I booked a cruise over the phone with a Carnival representative, something I've never done before. I've always booked our Carnival cruises with a TA.  I haven't gotten a confirmation email yet.  Does it take a day or two?  I did get a text (with my booking number) asking if I wanted text alerts.  So, I know I have a booking "on the books".

I've always gotten a confirmation email shortly after I booked but I also use a PVP so that may explain why.  I'd go online and add the booking to my profile so I could see that the booking is in the system.  If not, you could call Carnival back and make sure it's active. JMHO

Exactly I do the same. I want to see the booking and the booking number and check the price cabin number etc
