We're in Curacao for our 8/27.  We'll check it out.  Thanks.

You are quite welcome. If you like it, I can hook you up with my buddy Mark Brown...he takes people out diving/snorkeling for very reasonable prices.

We're more architecture, shopping, dining folks.  I swim like a brick though I appreciate aquatics.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the great send-off!!

We are onboard now. The process was very easy. Our boarding time was 12:30. Arrived at 12:17 and we were sent right in.

First station checks your boarding pass, vaccination card, and negative test results. From there you go up the escalator for ship check in. They scan the boarding pass again, take photo if necessary, and give you your tracelet.

Next you will scan the boarding pass one more time to get to the gangway.

Entire process took us less than fifteen minutes.

I didn’t think to elaborate at the time I posted this, but just remembered.

If you are like me and love having digital copies of everything in one place, this may apply to you.

The cellular service inside the terminal was horrible (at least with Verizon Wireless) and trying to connect to their WiFi in a timely manner was next to impossible.

I would suggest printing copies of everything to bring with you. Your negative COVID tests, your boarding pass (although I saved the boarding passes to my Apple wallet and it worked fine).

The CVS my health site took forever to bring up our test results and we easily could have saved time had we just printed them out.

This has me written all over it! 😁

I’ll probably have to leave Mark in the casino for a while though. He would not be excited about this.

Sometimes I just don’t understand that man.

LOL...welcome to my life!

Agree 100%!  I'm old school that way. I like to have a paper copy for backup, just in case my phone is lost or stolen, or the battery dies or I drop in and the screen shatters... you just never know when something like that could happen. And it is guaranteed to happen at the worst possible time.

You're only halfway done and I'm sure most of us following you look forward to what's coming next.

Halfway done?!?!

It’s only day 3, my friend. I’m afraid you’re going to be good and sick of me by the time this is all said and done. 😂😂😂

I seem to lose track of time lately.  Comes from being sequestered (won't say lockdown) for so long.  I know Donna gets her hair done for the cruise this Thursday so we're getting close.  I get my haircut Saturday and get the car ready.  Then next Tuesday are our COVID tests - that means we're really close.  Other than that I've been having a lot of "Who's on first?" moments.

I do know, though, that I won't tire of following your posts.  They are a high point of the day.  🙂

Another option is to print your docs as pdf files and store on your phone and your tablet.  You don't need a connection and have a backup.

Been in IT for over 40 years but sometime hardcopy still feels best.  I've known Murphy for a long time and if I rely on technology for this...........

Hubby and I are certified divers and would love some info/connection to a good dive excursion if we do get the change in itinerary for our Sept 5th 12 night Celebrity cruise and they go to Curacao.  Please add his info or the website.  Thanks 🙂

Lol. So I told Marko how much I loved that Veuve from yesterday. He’s going to bring it again today.

It is very easy to feel spoiled in the cabanas. And I’m wondering if you get all the same stuff if you book a port day.

When we booked port day/sea day pricing was $79/$199. On board pricing is $99/$249. If you get all this for $99 for the day…that is a pretty great deal.

I’ll find out.

How much are the cabanas?

IT, too.  Have used Evernote for a decade and make everything available offline.

Thank you, I just went to purchase these hooks when I get the strangest message from Amazon saying they are unable to ship these hooks to my area due to warranty restrictions etc…. Weird!

Too late to the party.

Hi there, appreciate your very thorough review so far.  Have you been able to get a pax count from anyone on board?  From your pool photos it looks pretty sparse.  Many thanks!

That always happens when ipeeinthepools shows up.

Give me your email and I shall hook you up with my buddy Mark Brown...he does all shore dives...all dives in Curacao are really shore dives! 🙂

Here is my website for  scuba dives.https://www.youtube.com/user/DiveVisionPhotos/videos

...all Curacao dives were done with Mark Brown. I have been a scuba instructor and professional underwater photographer for almost 40 years, and he is the BEST diver I have ever dived with.

You should know there’s an imposter on the ship.  There is a guy in a yellow T-shirt wit he message “I pee in pool”.  That’s not me, he’s an imposter.  Maybe people have seen him and are staying out of the pools.
