We are on for Sept 17...my wife packed a week ago! I will probably pack on September 16! 🙂

DW has packing down to a science starting with a detailed list of what is to be worn each day.  Pair everything, try it on, replace if needed or wanted as an excuse to shop.  Pack using packing sleeves which really do save a lot of space.  Repeat process as desired.  It works so I can't complain.

Just a few specifics.

We’ve sailed on 40+ cruises (I’m too lazy to look up the actual number). We have enjoyed them all. This will be our second time on Equinox.

We are Elite CC members, but we are sailing in a regular balcony cabin. We booked this as a casino comp cruise early 2020. Casino cruises don’t come with any perks, so we added the Drinks & More package and a few specialty dining reservations.

I take pictures. Lots of pictures. And I post many of them here. You will see food and drink photos, menu photos, ship photos, excursion photos. You have been warned.

Feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to find the answer.

If you are sailing with us, please feel free to drop by and post your thoughts and photos!

We'll definitely be following.  😀

Bon voyage!  I will be following.  We are on the Nov. 7 Equinox with the same itinerary - if it stays like it is???  Love the Equinox - it will be our third time.  Enjoy!

Hi LaDave - we, too, are on the November 7th cruise.  I don't care if I don't do any excursions I will be happy just to be on a ship again!  We were supposed to be a group of 20+ but we are down to 9 atlast count.  Happy sailing to all!

We're doing this cruise in November as a B2B.  So eager, and really happy to follow your cruise!  Can you tell me, please, how far in advance you got notification of your port changes?

Port changes can come at any time as so much is in flux currently, changes can even happen while you are on the ship. What is open today can close tomorrow with little or no advance notice. November is so far off

Yup, I certainly understand that.  I am curious, though, how far in advance Aring75 got theirs.

Four days.

I still haven’t made excursion plans for Aruba or Curaçao since bookings close 2 days prior to sailing. Going to look once we’re onboard.

... In the meantime, I like to use this site (https://www.myvirtualvacations.net/menus.html) to look at Celebrity menus. It shows all 14 available menus. I will still get photos since things may have changed slightly. But these look pretty good!

.

Thanks for that link, "aring75."  We used a subordinate link (on that page), which led us to a page that had lots of remarkable photos of a dining room an foods that were served.  It's necessary to scroll down about 1/3 of the way here:

https://www.myvirtualvacations.net/celebritycruisesdining.html

We wish that we could be with you "for real," instead of virtually.

Thanks!

In Aruba, we've done both the DePalm Island and 5 hour sail, snorkel, and bbq lunch (not sure what it's called).  Both were ship excursions; they were great.

Bon Voyage. 🥂 When you find a spare minute post what's happening on your cruise concerning the evening CC HH. 🍻

We just got to our cabin. This information was among all the paperwork on the desk. If I find out anything else, I will let you know.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the great send-off!!

We are onboard now. The process was very easy. Our boarding time was 12:30. Arrived at 12:17 and we were sent right in.

First station checks your boarding pass, vaccination card, and negative test results. From there you go up the escalator for ship check in. They scan the boarding pass again, take photo if necessary, and give you your tracelet.

Next you will scan the boarding pass one more time to get to the gangway.

Entire process took us less than fifteen minutes.
