OBC is going to pay for cheers, internet, gratuities, excursions, specialty restaurants, etc. Even with that I think I came up with a scenario where I would have over 100 left. Of course I wasn't counting writing in tips so that would probably knock that out.

Just buy stuff at one of the shops. Buy a new shirt, swim shorts, whatever. It makes no sense to leave that much OBC wasting away. Even if you had $5 left buy a candybar and be done with it.

Ok just got caught up.   Shoot me for being off line the entire weekend🙄

Love what the Florida Brewing (Caribe) did with their spot.  See MG is carrying Brew Hub.  It's ok.  P&A Porter better.  Brew Hub is out of Tampa and does a lot of other brewery beers.

Don't feel bad, I'm only on page 43 - it's going to be a long time before I get through all the great pictures and comments.

We live on the beach near the end of Central Avenue so we're just a little over a mile from Caribe.  It's been a few months since we were there but it was still Florida Beer Company then.  It's a great space!  I like the pineapple cider but my favorite is strawberry rose' cider.  Occasionally I like their chocolate stout mixed with blood orange cider - tastes just like a tootsie pop.

As I'm working through my blog I'm up to the night where I had the late dinner at Rudi's Sea Grill and it reminded me of something I didn't post that night. They had a juggler. Jeff the Juggler. I have some videos of it. Actually I took more videos of this guy than anything on the entire cruise. I had to leave his show early to make it to my dinner reservation. After dinner I walked down to Grand Central and he was repeating his show. I didn't tell you about this part live for my anonymity. I grab a seat down front. It's 11pm and there aren't many people at this show. I'm the only person sitting at the tables. He's still at a part I've already seen so I start posting dinner pictures to the review and he stops his show and gives me a hard time about being on my phone. He thought I was texting and he was a bit of a jerk about it....and now I get to tell everyone about it.

What did he think....he was one of the comedians or something? Pretty rude coming from a juggler if you ask me.

I saw that Broadway guy in the elevator. I know I just posted one clip and it probably wasn’t his best. By far the best singer I’ve seen on carnival. You can tell he’s broadway level. He has one of those borderline opera type voices.

He was on our Magic cruise last month. My Mom was mesmerized as soon as he opened his mouth 😂. My daughter was very involved in theatre all through High School so we really enjoyed the show, and I agree, he has an amazing voice!  Wouldn’t mind seeing him again next month on our Mardi Gras cruise but I’m guessing he’ll have moved on by then.  Really enjoying your live review. Thanks for all the work you put into sharing your travels with us!! 😀🛳

This is why I always carry a prop cell phone on me.  I mean like, always.  Any juggler gives me guff then when they look away I toss my prop phone towards their air circle of running chain saws and see if they can add a 4th item into the circle.

How often are you seeing jugglers that you’d carry a prop cell phone for just that purpose?

@Saint Gregwhat part of your review did you post about Costa Maya?  I've never been and I have 14 days to figure out what I'm doing.  Plus I'll be on MG!!!  With my Mom!!  WooHoo!!  TIA!

I’ve never been to costa Maya. This cruise was San Juan, Amber Cove, and Nassau (changed from Grand Turk). Being so close to Galveston it will have to be one heck of a deal for me to fly to Florida for a western Caribbean cruise….it will probably never happen.

Is that a casino offer? We don't go in the casino so we never get the really sweet deals.

That would be a good enough deal. But all of my vacation time is spoken for. When are you going?

Has to be right? I don’t get them either but I have seen some good deals out there like my $400 panorama…there’s also $225 5-day breeze and I recently saw a $500 8-day dream.

I think those super cheap deals are on cruises that are departing within the next 14 days or so. Greg, remember when I posted those cheap cruises that I was seeing on my VIFP offers? I also think those offers may be for those who aren’t close to a port, so airfare would also be involved, and buying airfare on short notice is going to cost which would technically drive up the cost of the cruise.  I don’t get casino offers since I’m not a big casino person. My thoughts are that they are trying to fill some space on these ships that are sailing soon and haven’t sold as well as they had hoped?

Could be…maybe they figure they’ll make money off of bar and specialty restaurants. But If it were me….and I’m not going to make money off of cruise fare. I’m not going to make money in the casino. I’d rather just have fewer people on the ship and call it reduced capacity for COVID. Maybe it’s for people who aren’t booked to get them to book again.

I thought maybe it was due to me playing roulette on my Sept 4-9 cruise but it doesn't say anything about that.  My DH didn't receive the offer.  I was blown away to get this!  I thought my Magic Sept 4-9 cruise offer was good at $200/person for a balcony.

I'm booked for Oct 2-9 on MG in an interior.  I've booked dinner at Bonsai Teppanyaki and at Rudi's (very few time slots available) and the Tabayana Beach excursion in Mahogany Bay (we did this before and loved it!) so yeah, Carnival is getting some extra money from me.  I'm sooooo excited to check out MG!

I'm thinking of checking out The Krazy Lobster in Costa Maya.  Cozumel, my mom and I will do a little shopping, get a margarita and call it a day.  Mom doesn't drink much so we are not doing Cheers, instead getting a bottle of rum for me...I mean the room😜.  I do want to have a drink at each one of the added bars that are new to me like The Brass Magnolia, Fortune Teller, and I know there's one more.  My mom is already psyched to try Big Chicken!

Highlights of my Jeff the juggler videos. I didn’t want to give him multiple days. Not bad for someone who was texting on his phone and not paying attention. 😂
