esther e Posted November 3, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2021 Has anyone done this? Is it possible? I have one leg booked and paid for, but the second leg interests me and I'm not sure. I'll make up my mind on the ship, but wonder if it's even possible to do this.
Alakegirl Posted November 3, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2021 It is often possible. Consult Guest Relations early in the cruise, don’t wait until the last minute.
Virga Posted November 3, 2021 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2021 On our recent Summit cruise, there was a line in the dailies saying the last chance to do so was two nights before debarkation - so Monday night before a Wednesday debarkation. Possible I guess unless the cabin category you want is gone for the second leg.
39august Posted November 3, 2021 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2021 We often do b2b cruises. But we always have booked in advance. I wouldn't wait until on board, tho' with reduced capacity these days, you are more likely to be able to book while on board.

If not, they will assist in moving you. And I'd assume its a US turnaround port, so you'll step off the ship and then back on, or treat the port as any other and off you go! You'll close out your account from the 1st leg and they'll give you a new card and all will be set, the night prior. We Love B2B's and do them especially in Europe to take full advantage. Nothing quite like sitting there relaxing the evening of the end of the 1st cruise and just enjoying while all others are packing up and getting ready to leave. maybe someone who has done a B2B during our COVID cruising can chime in on any additional changes. den

Or maybe not even that much work. Have heard recent first hand B2B reports of CBP coming aboard to manage the formalities at the turn (Millennium, west coast B2B by Jim_Iain). Will be curious to see how Tampa handles it on our B2B turn on 11/12.
jelayne Posted November 3, 2021 #9 Share Posted November 3, 2021 Just did a B2B on Edge. Tested on the ship the day before turnaround. Morning of turnaround day the B2Bers met at 9:15 and were escorted off the ship at 9:25 into the terminal and through CBP facial recognition and back on the ship. We were back on the ship by 9:50. While we were doing that our stateroom attendant moved our belongings to our new cabin. We unpacked and headed to the pool.

jcbc522 Posted November 4, 2021 #12 Share Posted November 4, 2021 I am doing a B2B on the Summit in March - is there any discount or OBC for booking B2B's? Hold times have been crazy for Celebrity so thought I would ask here before I call. Thank you
canderson Posted November 4, 2021 #13 Share Posted November 4, 2021 (edited) Don't have the chart handy, but yes. Something on the order of $50 for legs shorter than 7 nts, $100 for 7-10, $150 for 11+. Perhaps someone can post the chart.
