maybe with some restriction loosening, the speak easy lounge will reopen.

Hopefully, this will not be the case.  Indoor smoking is so unnecessary anywhere on a cruiseship.  Do you hear us, Princess?

Better for the non smokers to have cigar & pipe smoking confined to a specific enclosed indoor area than to have the smoke and unpleasant smells swirling around outdoor public spaces.

Areas/bars aft are perfect.  Wind carries the smoke away and everyone is happy.  Have you ever walked by Churchill’s?  The door is always opening and closing and the smoke and smell just waft right out.  It is not at all pleasant for non smokers.  I can’t think of anywhere on land where indoor smoking is allowed.

Who are you to say WHAT'S unnecessary? What's next? No meat or alcohol? Am I to assume you don't have any vices?

I enjoy having a cigar once in awhile on my cruise and the Churchill Lounge is the only place I could do that on board the ship. The outdoor smoking areas and the casino did not allow for cigar smoking. Also when I do light up I make an effort to do so in a way to try not offend others.

It's time to reopen the Churchill Lounge.

I guess you haven't been to Las Vegas that allows indoor smoking? Maybe in Canada smoking is more restricted.

I’m guessing you’ll never sail on Celebrity?  It is heavenly.  They heard us.  Perhaps, Princess will follow suit.  And, what the heck does meat or alcohol have to do with cigarette/cigar smoke?  SMH

Yes, no smoking allowed anywhere, inside or outside, except basically your own property.  I thought that California had very strict smoking laws.  I guess I am wrong.

many countries outside the realm of North America smoking is a daily event. I venture to say that the cruise ships catering to the far east clientele have indoor smoking .

Smoking is only allowed in casinos but not all casinos are smoking (trend will be towards smoke free).....otherwise Las Vegas is just as strict about smoking as California.......

Totally agree......it is just a deadly habit and nothing more......love those smoking commercials made by people who wish they would have quit.......
