We are having dinner tonight at the lawn club.  I’ll look for the chair and let you know.

Hi!  How was your dining experience at the lawn club?  We are on the 4/21 sailing.

Thanks!

Bob

We had a very nice dinner there last night.  You go up and choose what you want and they make the salad for you.  We had the veggie flatbread, small size, which was delicious!  My husband had the veal chop 👍and I had the grilled salmon with lobster Mac and cheese.  All good.  We were so full but managed to eat a little of the warm chocolate chip cookie/vanilla ice cream dessert. We were still docked in Bonaire during dinner, but it was very windy.  We personally would not choose to eat there when the ship was moving.

Sounds nice. Thank you. I have booked it for our first night on Friday when boarding. Have a great time.

It’s been too windy for me to go up there until today but now we are docked in Bonaire and I checked out the that there are two big chairs

thanks this makes me happy that they did not remove them.

I went each day to sit in them for 1/2 hours.  so comfy and fun

If you happen to wander along side of the Sunset Bar, could you please check to see if the “Margarita Coronita” has made it back on the menu?

We’re on Silhouette in March and just curious if I will be able to connect with an old friend!

Thanks so much

Randy

I’m also interested in this! They are my favourite!

Currently onboard. Per medical yesterday, there was only one (known) Covid case onboard. I assume that’s the passenger that Capt George reported the first morning. I’ve been told that isolation for positive Covid cases is on deck 3 (pothole cabins) this cruise. It was previously reported that some (one?) were moved to deck 6 balcony cabin(s) on prior cruises.

Faithful readers will know that in January I was on this ship Back to back. I then took a short break to go to reflection for two cruises back to back and now I return to silhouette. Any questions, just ask

We cruised twice on the Silhouette a few years back and loved it.  Then, we did a couple of Princess cruises, and then back to Equinox last August, and Reflection Dec. 2021.  They all had their pros and cons.  I liked the fact that the Reflection & Silhouette were the only two s-class ships that had The Porch & The Lawn Club, although Porch on Silhouette was never open.  Do you know what changes their revolutions will bring?  March 19, we'll be on Apex, and are excited to see this new (to us at least) style of ship.  We got a Sky Suite, as I am pretty positive we wouldn't like the infinite veranda.  Would like to hear others' opinions of them. Also, don't understand the rocking chairs; the ship already rocks enough for me.

What’s the current masking situation?  Last I read they were only required in casino and the theatre.  Is that still the case?   If so, are people complying?  I see where RCL is going fully mask optional on Friday.

Only required in casino and theater. People are complying. Anyone who approaches the theater without one is handed a paper mask. Don’t know what Royal is doing. Celebrity and Royal seldom have identical protocols.
