Pillows?

Anyone know what they do with pillows between guests other then just changing pillow cases?

Prior to covid, just changed the cases.  I don't know what they do now.  The extra pillows would take up tons of room.  We are planning to bring our My Pillows with us (if we decide to do our cruise in January) so we can wash them when we come home.  We have a couple travel ones.

I believe they put them in a high heat dryer to kill any germs from the previous passengers.

We sailed in January 2022. I am allergic to feathers and requested non-feathered pillows.  I was told that they are cleaned after each cruise and that we needed to wait until later in the day. He did swap them out for us. 
I am not sure if they are still doing this but I hope so.

i always do a Lysol and Clorox wipe of the room as soon as we board. I have been doing this since way before COVID

My cabin mate left after my first voyage.  Bed was reconfigured to a Queen. I was in the room for change.  Cabin mate’s pillows were NOT changed out.  Only new pillow cases.

Seriously do not think any cruise ship changes/cleans the actual pillows between cruises (even in Covid times).

Just clean pillow sheets.

Not to worry...germs don't fly (no wings) and don't crawl (no legs). the pillow ticking plus the pillow case should be enough.

Probably the same thing hotels do between guests - nothing other than change the pillowcases.  

 

Sometimes it's better to just not think about things.
