Ran across a discount code on a few TA sites today … RCU23.  Discounted fare and free air.  Worked on November 2023 HI/French Polynesia cruise on Star, reduced the PV2 fare by $1k pp.  Not sure what all it works on but worth a try. Good luck.

Just tried on the Midnight Sun itinerary in July.  Pretty significant savings in V to DV.

Not a promo code, but the June special offers have landed. Many 2024 and 2025 cruises have noticeably reduced fares (one example being $600 (CAD) off of a previous $8400 price), as well as  quite good OBC ($650 or $1300 per couple, depending on voyage timing and length). Some also still carry the $25 deposit, so a cancel and rebook would be painless if you had the original $25 deposit deal.

 

It caused me to wonder whether this was saying something about the 2024/25 booking levels. 🍺🥌

The offers come directly from the cruise lines, not from the TAs.  Viking dropped a wholesale/warehouse chain because they have a habit of rebating commissions paid to agencies, thus undercutting other agencies and Viking themselves.

I just noticed world cruise fare for 2023 on either Viking Sky or Neptune was reduced.  Using code wcs23 you can book a DV for a V2 rate which now makes the 138 day journey $45k down from $50k.  If anyone is on the fence it probably won"t get better.  The $5k savings also applies to the 121 day voyage reducing it to $40k.

Apparently, I just know when we did our round the cape cruise on NCL years ago, the flight back (Santiago to Toronto) was over 10 hours so almost twice as long as a flight to Europe.

this would be an awesome trip...I wish we were back from our fall river cruises in time to take it!!!  This is beautiful country and will be that much BETTER on the Expedition ship rather than regular Ocean which we loved!

I think the “closer to home sale” refers to the bottom part of the ad, below the lead-in  “Also repositioning sailings,” referring to the Autumn repositioning of the expedition ships, with portions that visit ports in Canada and the U.S.

Can I please ask how you received this promotion.  We get an email every day from Viking and did not get this one.  If it was not for a post several days ago about the CSA23 promo we would have missed it.  We booked the Sept 26th Montreal to Ft Lauderdale cruise but we had no idea until your post about Chile, etc.  Thank you for the info on how you received the promo and thank you for posting all the specifics on this promo.

Why? That is one of the great mysteries of Viking.
Although, after returning from our last cruise, I no longer had any future bookings. That is when I started getting a lot of emails with various deals.
