Bolt question

I'm going on the Mardi Gras for the first time next week. Id love to go on Bolt but i read that they had pretty strict restrictions. I'm 6ft5 and over the last several weeks Ive recently lost over 20lbs i still wont be under the 300lb mark when we sail (probably around 320lb). I did the sky bike awhile back with no issues at all. Ive also gone on some roller coasters for years (Joker at SFGA for example) that i exceeded a height or weight limit on and had no idea because nobody told me or enforced it. Has anyone gone recently that can speak to this? Do they still have the scale and are they still strict about it? Thanks in advance

I wouldn’t push the limit. A young man died in Orlando, he was actually too big but enforcement was lax. This was at Icon Park.

I am very well aware of the Tyre Sampson story. I was actually supposed to go on that a month before he had passed but we could not find parking. I would not compare the two but thanks for the opinion.

I've seen a couple YouTube videos in which they said they weren't allowed to ride the Bolt due to weight restrictions. One example is this video around the 2 minute mark:

Yes, they are strict.  You must be at least 52 inches (4 feet, 4 inches) tall and weigh less than 300 pounds in order to ride Bolt. The maximum height allowed is 77 inches (6 feet, 5 inches).

They have a scale to step on prior to the ride. It is a pass or fail, doesn’t show actual weight. If over the limit you won’t get to ride.

Yes, you can choose to go full tilt or slow it down, it has a gas/speed pedal.

I loved it, but the slowest speed was not what I considered to be slow at all.
