Definitely coke, the dispensers at the bars are all labeled as Coke.

As O said, all the beers at the brewhouse are included with the regular drink plan. I'll pop over today to see if anything has run out.

We sailed through a bit of a hurricane last night. Strong winds yesterday on land and the captain said 55mph winds. Definitely more rocky than usual but all in all it wasn't too bad.

The moon last night was insane. Super bright, with Jupiter visible to the left and Saturn visible farther off to the right. These pictures were all taken at 11:30pm. The ones that look like day light were just using nighttime mode on my phone for a longer aperture.

Another night closing out the bar. Since we had been drinking from 10:30am that day we all kept it a little more low key and on the lighter side. Some new friends 'bought' us a bottle of sparkling water to rehydrate with their premium beverage plan, and @SalthMate got to try a smoky old fashioned and up his drinking game from his classic blue moon special.

Dinner last night was at La Cucina with my folks. Forgot to get a picture of the whole table, so we'll have to correct that later in the week.

 

If you're using the free at sea perk, you get 2 picks from the left side of the menu (apps + pasta) and 1 from the right (pizza + entrees).

 

If you're using the latitudes coupon, only 1 from each side. My dad didn't want an app so we just made him order one for us and we shared it since we were using our coupon and not entitled to one. 

 

We always felt the rules changed each time we are there but now at least it makes sense why. Knowing that I think we'll use our coupons differently going forward since La Cucina is one of the few places I do like having 2 apps from.

Good Sunday morning from Halifax, N.S., Canada! Thanks for posting the arrival pics @Sailing12Away. I think Kyle, her parents , James & myself are all on the same shore excursion today in Halifax. But, meet up time is not until 12:20 pm. I think I've topped @gadave's routine of keeping the balcony door open to let in that fresh sea air while underway. Every morning, I bring my blanket & pillow and take a morning nap on my balcony lounger (my balcony is extra large - it has a full lounger plus 2 chairs & a cocktail table). As I'm taking my morning nap, we have been making arrival in these Candian ports. The railing for the balcony is strong plexiglass, so you can see through it which allows me to see as I lay down fully reclined. Eat your 🐀 heart out @gadave. I'm only teasing @gadave - thanks to following his upgrade bidding strategy, I was able to snag my current Haven Penthouse Suite!

@ggTexasGal- what part of Texas are you in? I spent my whole career in Houston and also graduated from Texas A&M at Galveston (as you can tell from my CC emoji). I can't believe we (Aggies) lost to Appalachian State at home! Good bye to the #6 in the nation ranking...

Nice! I lived in Atascocita (not too far from The Woodlands). When I retired, I moved back up to Michigan (I'm an original Michigander). Got tired of the heat & humidity of those Texas (Houston) summers. To handle the Michigan winters, I fly to Florida ports and cruise!

It's a short 5 min walk from the cruise ship. Make a right and walk on the boardwalk, can't miss it.

When we lived in Spring, I used to drive to Atascocita often.  Despite the Grand Parkway completion, I no longer bother anymore.  DH and I are both originally from the mid-west, so I understand!

Picked up a 6 pack of beer for us a well as a can of dog friendly beer for our baby at home. I'll make sure to stop at the brewhouse tonight for a status check on the tap lines.

 

At the brewery we ordered from Skip the Dishes (Canadian equivalent of GrubHub & Uber eats). Great Lebanese place about 15 mins from there, so we had them deliver a gyro while we drank.

Looks like a fantastic day! Weather Channel is saying rain is forecasted for our days in Halifax & St. John, crossing our fingers that they're wrong as usual and it's clear skies for us too! 

 

Is Moosehead Brewery on your list for tomorrow? We're planning to make our way there by taxi, Uber (or equivalent if it exists, haven't actually researched it yet), not doing an excursion since we don't care for a brewery tour (seen twenty, seen 'em all, LOL), and most popular sites seem to be easy to get to.
