And a very happy semi-early birthday to @SalthMate! We'll be popping those champagne bottles open tomorrow to celebrate all day. The free stuff is decent if you mix it with juice. That's what we did for breakfast this morning, mixed it with either OJ or cranberry.

Footloose show tonight was pretty good. Lots more drink pictures to post tomorrow along with dinner at the MDR. With all the snacks and such we skipped lunch. Tomorrow we're planning on sleeping in and getting a late breakfast/early lunch before the black glass champagne tasting.

Clocks move ahead 1 hour tonight...

Thanks so much Sailing12Away (Kyle). Much appreciated! I am a 🐀 with grey whiskers

now. Last night, I get back to my suite and there is a bottle of wine (merlot) with 2 wine glasses sitting on my table. That's 2 bottles of champagne and 1 bottle of wine now. Somebody is trying to get this 🐀 drunk and take advantage of him.

Breakfast in our room is one of our favorite perks. The butler told me they had no hash browns. I call BS... Will attempt to get my fried potato fix tomorrow I suppose.

Hi! DH and I are also on the Joy. Just wanted to say, we were also told no hashbrowns yesterday morning when we were at The Local for breakfast. They only had home fries.

Dinner last night in the main dining room.

Good thing we saw Footloose at the early show, rest of the performances have been cancelled due to a cast member injury.

Just to clarify what Sailing12Away said about the Footloose cancellation, the letter (from NCL) that I received in my suite said it was due to a "medical emergency".  I'm just guessing that it was a cast member's injury because of all the hard-core dancing they do in the show. The letter said that they are replacing Footloose with a magic show. Like Sailing12Away said. I'm glad we saw it last night before it got cancelled. Btw - I thought the dancing & choreography was excellent in the show.

We’ve got 3 bartenders in the Haven right now, Christian, Edgar, and Armand.

@Sailing12AwayThank you so much for taking the time to post so many photos and updates, you are making me even more excited for our cruise next Friday!!!  Do you know if Christian is the same bartender who was on the Getaway last year (December specifically). "Our" Christian was AMAZING, took really good care of us on a 17 day TA, and we would be thrilled to find him now on the Joy! (I'm sure there's more than one Christian bartender in the entire NCL fleet, but in the Haven???. Figured I'd ask. LOL)

Arrived in Prince Edward Island this morning. We're scheduled for a beer tour in the afternoon, will attempt to get off the ship early to find some mussels for hubby first.

Extra photos from the bar last night, lots of people there closing it out with us. As well as some early morning photos from the port side.

The other day we walked around the Galaxy pavilion. Was tempted to try out a game or two, but $8-20 for only 4 minutes of time seemed a bit steep to me.

Instead we blew $3 playing the claw machine games. No Pokemon, but we did win a Batman duck. I call that a win.

The one thing I did want to point out for folks considering the Joy is the difference in bathrooms. We're in a Haven family villa (HH) which is outside of the courtyard. Or bathroom has a step up into it, and a tub. The step over the tub into the shower is high. So being outside of the courtyard gives you a bigger room, but a mobility challenged bathroom.

My folks are in a family club balcony room. Same step up into the bathroom, but no tub. So just walk right into the shower, much easier for them. Photo of their bathroom is below.

I second what @Sailing12Awaysaid - the outer side of the tub is steep. I even have trouble stepping over it. I'm currently in a Haven Penthouse Suite (HI) but I believe it was previously a Concierge  Family Suite (then NCL upgraded it to a Haven Penthouse Suite). I think the key is that these "family" suites have tubs to bathe the young kiddos. As far as stepping up into the "bathroom";  that's a ship thing. I'm not happy unless I'm stepping up into my bathroom...errr...head <- (ship term). I'm also not happy until my toilet roars with the high intensity vacuum suction. Just sayin'.

I would be curious to know if the leaves are changing yet in PEI?  Thanks!

I'm not sure, as I haven't been off the ship (yet). Disembarking for a shore excursion (with @Sailing12Awayin 25 minutes. I will be sure to look at the leaves and let you know.

Christian from the Haven bar is on the left in one photo

I saw that pic after I asked, showed my husband and he said, "Christian!" LOL  Hopefully he's staying on the Joy for the 9/16 sailing!  Looks like your group is having a blast, thanks again for all the posts and pics, I'm going to keep living vicariously for the the next week. 😉
