In a word, No. if a ship goes down I have a chance because I can swim. The same can’t be said for a sky hotel because I can’t fly.

You better be a really good swimmer, if the ship goes down several hundred miles from the nearest land, it’ll be awhile before help arrives. There will probably be hundreds, or thousands of people who will need the help too.

So true!  But at least their are life boats on a ship.  Wonder what the safety net is for a sky ship.  I'm sure there are some.  Interesting concept.  Maybe I'm just too old now to embrace the new...OMG, I've become my parents 😂!

No way!!!  If I could avoid regular airplanes I would, no way do I want to vacation in one for an extended period of time!

 

Plus, if a ship goes down I have options - mainly swim or get on a lifeboat.   And generally have a fair amount of time to react and hopefully get off safely.   If a plane goes down my options are slim... flap my arms and fly (doubtful it would work!) or grap a parachute and jump but that sounds downright terrifying!  And reaction time would be very brief before disaster.  

 

I'll stick to land and sea for my adventures.
