Cabin next to panoramic lift questions

We are new to MSC and wonder about cabin # 9141 directly next to panoramic lift.  Are there mechanical noise challenges from lift in that cabin?  Is view obstructed by lift? Can folks in lift see onto the balcony  on 9141?  Thanks in advance for information!

What ship?  It's not any of the Seaside class!  Those near the panoramic lifts would be 92XX.

oh dear I forgot to list the ship... its MSC Meraviglia #9141

We were beside the lift in 12156 and 12154 and didn't hear the lift at all from that side...

Following.. also thinking of booking a cabin next to the panoramic lift on the Meraviglia on deck 8. Would love to hear from anyone who has booked a similar cabin.

We are planning to book cabin 8133 on the Meraviglia for a June 2023 sailing. It is 1 cabin down from the panoramic lift and above the Champagne Bar. Does anyone have any info on this or similar cabin? Will there be any noise from below from the Champagne Bar?

I like the location. It is almost like private lift right to the pool and down to the indoor action as less people use them.

Thanks lovebears, glad you asked this, sorry I don't have an answer, have been wondering the same thing, hope someone can answer if there is a downside to booking a cabin near that elevator, especially on the Meraviglia.

We just booked 9172 on Meraviglia. This will be our first cruise on MSC too. Hoping to hear good and bad from past cruisers. Thanks for starting this thread!!

Loved being close to the PLs - it was like having our own private lift 🛗 straight down to the champagne 🍾 bar.

Only downside was that the teens used to congregate in the little corridor by the lift late at night ( it was a European cruise) so we had to tell them several times to be quiet and move on!!!

We were 2 cabins away (11143) from the elevator and couldn't hear it. Great location.

No noise really from the Champagne Bar on the Mera.

Our Cabin on the Virtuosa was 2 away from the Panoramic Lifts.  Really great could not hear anything and it took us straight up to the Pool Deck. Great.
