Solo cruiser and early dining

So, I have never sailed royal solo AND had early dining. I’ve had my time dining the past. If I am solo and have early dining, am I still sitting by myself at a table for 2  or will I be seated at a table with a group of people?

Could be either.  You can always ask to switch when you board if you don't care for your table assignment.

My travel agent requests a large / sharing table when he makes my reservation.  

Early/late seating has no bearing on whether you'll be seated alone or with others.

Currently on the Mariner solo at a table for two with only myself there  I requested a table for one

Ask for what you want.

You can email royal two weeks before your cruise date and make a request for what you prefer. 

rcldining@rccl.com . Just give them your name,  reservation number, ship and sail date . They forward your request to the dining room manager on your ship. They emailed us back the actual table number and dining room. We just did it for Ovation and Quantum. happy dining
