$1 Deposits on Princess for Black Friday start Nov. 22

Finally - a nice Black Friday deal if you like low deposits, and who doesn't?!

From Nov. 22 through Nov. 30, guests can choose from 60 sailings under $60 per day (per guest), and 100's more sailings under $100 per day (per guest), taking travelers to Alaska, the California Coast, the Caribbean, Panama Canal and Europe. In addition, guests booking through the sale can take advantage of $1 deposits, meaning those who reserve their sailings to worldwide destinations by Nov. 30 don't have to pay the remaining balance until 90 days before their trip, when deposits typically range between $100 - $800 at the time of booking.

 

Sounds like it's not every cruise, but quite a few are included in this deal.

I would not say that. The rates are apparently reduced for the sailings and you’ll still get the OBC for using a FCD to book one of them so I don’t understand why you would say it’s useless. I’ll wait to see what the rates look like before deciding if it’s a deal or not.

It's a sales gimmick that doesn't effect the cost of the cruise. Pay now or Pay later.

You can call to pay $1.00 deposit rather then your FCD.

Been watching a Caribbean cruise for February and Princess raised the price today. It will be interesting what the "sale" will actually yield tomorrow.

How do you find the cruises with the $1 deposit?   Are they just mixed in with everything else?

Not very well explained.

I know it meant for Mon starting at 3am EST and not sure if any 2024 cruises are eligible.

they say it can be combined with Black Friday but the $1 is for Nov 28th only
