Pop Century was a big success. Very peaceful by Disney standards, immaculately clean, and very helpful staff (that helped save this whole thing with PassportGate)

I wish, it’s definitely on my radar (almost went there the night before my MG cruise last month), but we’re in Orlando this time doing the Disney thing! Cocoa Beach for the next PC cruise for sure!

I missed Ale House from various happy hours and dinners over the years I loved in Florida, so we ran down Hotel Plaza Blvd. just off property for the home of tons of TVs and the 35 Fried Shrimp. Not 34. Not 36. 35.

a very wild (but delicious!) grab bag of chicken nachos, steak fajitas, and pork osso buco - house salad and mashed potatoes not pictured - for a pretty darn reasonable $59.

And, with that, the next food I eat will be onboard Mardi Gras! (No way I’m having breakfast. Did you SEE that pork shank?!?)

 

Plan on heading out 8:30ish, give a little margin for error, park at PC and get to cruisin’!

Now that I think about it (and I lie here very full), I feel like my pork shank had a lot in common with the thing that always over Fred Flintstone’s car

Wow what a crazy few days you have had. We just got back from a Xmas trip to Vegas safe and sound with no travel issues. That's because close to last minute I decided to cancel our Southwest flights and book much cheaper Frontier flights. I felt like I was gambling taking a chance on Frontier, little did I know at the time how lucky I would be.

Hope you have smooth sailing from now on and the absolute best cruise ever, you earned it🙂

We made it JUST before the infamous PC terminal 3 backup started. 
 

 

 

this terminal has the most nonsensical layout imaginable. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the pickup:drop off lane in the exact same place as the only lane to get into the garage is a sadist.

Looks like the setup has changed. Once I got in the garage, paid at a booth, got my receipt, and drove in.
