OBC for shipboard haircuts?

People, over multiple scenarios, seem to struggle with this concept. If one uses an Onboard service on the ship, THEN, OBC can be used to offset those costs.

I don’t know the multiple combinations and permeations utilized by other cruise lines. However, everything one does on an Oceania ship is chargeable to the shipboard account.Available OBC is utilized to offset any such charges.

How difficult is that?

It is not always simple… for example, we received some certificates for “free” spa only shipboard credit.  But if used for any spa services, you would be charged for a gratuity, and the remaining spa credit could not be used to pay that…

😂. Casino charges are not service or material charges but cash advances. That’s a different animal

pino, following up on our meeting on Sirena last fall, any way to get in touch with you without giving away family secrets?

Where did the spa credit come from? Oceania, TA, or a friend? Was the credit via Oceania or via the Spa operator?

OBC can be used for any charges including gratuities ( gambling doesn’t count). Obviously a spa credit is different from OBC.

Unless things have changed  since 2019 ( probably has)  you could use the Oceania Club spa credit  & include the gratuity

Nope, we couldn't apply it to gratuity in Sept.
