Paying for a GUEST in Blu?

Does anyone know for sure if you can pay an additional fee and have a guest in the Blu dining room?

Anyone who has experience with this please assist me with this question.

 

My granddaughter and I are in an Aqua but could not get a second Aqua for daughter.  She is in Veranda by herself.  Is it possible for her to dine with us?

I'm pretty sure there's no guest access for Blu. You will all be able to dine together in the MDR. Just let the staff at Blu that you won't be dining there as a courtesy.

I have read that solo passengers in Aqua can bring guests occasionally. But this does not apply to you. You will not be able to bring a guest with you. The only way you can eat together is to forgo your blu dining and all go to the main dining room together.   Be sure to coordinate this with the maître d’ in blu so they  know not to expect you.  The maître d’ will make arrangements for you to dine together.

Our experience? No guests. We have asked. Firm but pleasant ‘no’. 
 

It’s a slippery slope. If you do it for one, you have to do it for everyone.

Blu does not allow guests. The suite restaurant, Luminae does for a fee and approval of the Maitre D’

Your choices are basically to dine all together in the MDR, pay to eat together in speciality restaurants, downgrade your Aqua cabins, upgrade everyone to suites, or hope that at some point you can get your daughter into an Aqua class cabin.

The only solution is for all of you to eat in the MDR.

Not possible.    The seating is limited in Blu which is the reason they also don't allow to book more than 2 PAX per room in Aqua.  

 

They do allow guests from Suites at no cost on a space available basis.
