Just so you know, this is not a live report/review, but just some interesting information from two educators who are elite + and will never make Zenith!

1. The ship has around 2,200 passengers, but the people onboard seem very friendly and happy.  The crew is absolutely on task with doing their best to make all of us happy and stress free.  The officers are out and about and eager to meet and greet.  We checked in within 10 minutes, from dropping luggage to getting our room keys.

2.  Our captain is Dimitrios Kafetzis.

3.  Cruise director: Luigi

4.  Captain Kate is also onboard for the TA and following cruise, but as a passenger with BN.

5.  Beyond is beautiful and a step above, IMHO,
Edge and Apex.  One of the best things they have done with the OVC is to leave more room for eating/getting                coffee, or just trying to find a seat; it really does make a difference!  See below:

I knew y'all would love Beyond.  We wish we were with all of you.

We just got off a week ago and already miss her! We are also E+ with no illusions of ever making Z.

Enjoy your cruise !

May I ask what category Suite you have? That balcony looks a good size! Hope you enjoy a wonderful crossing and adventure in Europe!

We have a sunset suite; on other ships it was called an S1 Corner aft.  it is a long walk, but we definitely(me for sure)need to burn the walking with the gym too.  thank you so much, Barwick Cruiser, for your kind words.  So far, it has been lovely, but with a lot more to explore.👣

Lovely photos. It was fun to sail with Captain Kafetzis and Hotel Director Niyazi Korkmaz again on our recent cruise on Beyond. We finally made Elite Plus on that cruise, so we’re now working on the Z in Zenith😂 I hope you two have a splendid trip. Wish we were there with you!

Due to an emergency with two passengers, we are having to evacuate both at Bermuda, a port that were were not scheduled to visit.  It is always sad to hear these types of announcements; hope both find the medicare they need to recover.

How's the temp in the public areas?

The temperature sees to be quite comfortable, but can change depending on where you are on the ship.  We are all the way aft, in the corner, so our hallway is very cool.

Arte was an excellent theater production show last night, day 2; also, our captain was in rare form, even making jokes about us Americans.  He is a hoot and a half.  the photo I had of him would not post, so maybe later.  The Captain’s Club breakfast is very nice and being well received!  You ned to play the video and wait for it, unless you have already experienced Arte!  Sorry about the additional talking etc.  It loaded very slowly with Starlink!

Captain Kate ate in Luminae and joined the 7:00 PM show, but as a passenger!

Here is Captain “D.”  His shoes match Luigi’s because he wants to be just like him, he said.  We laughed until we cried.  As most of you know, the brother are moving to Ascent, so more fun on the horizon, but not the ship Horizon.  I believe he was Captain of Horizon too.

As for the food, it has been delicious!  In OVC, there are not as many choices for breakfast, like cut up fruit or any grapes(in Luminae Retreat)but, everything is very tastefully done.  A little more quality than quality, IMHO!

Okay...funny story about time:  We all know that time changes happen on TA’s/TP’s and cruises in general.  So, we had our first one last night, but forgot to manually change to an hour forward.  Yes, both of us were trying to figure out why Celebrity has changed their times for meals etc.  Finally, duh, it dawned on us that was the culprit and not Celebrity!  Getting older comes with AGE Disease...

***Also, I want to give a huge shout out to our cabin attendant, Putra.  He is just awesome and thinks of things that we have missed before we think of them.  He actually listens to what we say and things happen almost immediately.  For example, our bathroom door was squeaky, so we asked to please have it fixed.  He came by to make sure it was done and placed a couple of roses on the table for our inconvenience...wow!  There is always something that he does to let us know that our time onboard is important to him!

Correction:  a little more Quality than quantity.

Yes, this was us many decades ago...anyone else have an early cruise photo that you can post?  Things have changed, but cruising is still a big part of our preferred way to travel🌎

So happy that Bermuda is in our rear view window, as the rain and dark clouds made it a little crazy on the seas...so much so that on deck 11, by the aft elevators, the loud sounds of typing were quite the invitation that some construction was happening...I did a couple of videos to capture the sound!  The loudest was 207, or 11207.  Our cabin/suite has been excellent all the way around.
