Spectra's Cabaret v. Pixels

Going to be on Ovation in June and noticed that they've changed Pixels to Spectra's Cabaret.  I haven't seen either show.  Any thoughts on which show is better?

Very similar, but not sure why it makes a diff as you won't get a choice.

I personally really like this show, and have seen both. There might be a couple of songs that changed, but pretty much the same show, I’m on the Ovation now. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, so I suggest you attend, and make your own decision.

Hopefully the aerials are working now.  I was on Ovation in September and they didn't do any of the aerial acts during Pixels.  It really took away from the show.

Well, there's the choice to not go if people think it's a terrible show...

Saw Spectra on the Anthem last month.  Lack of a coherent storyline and I had a difficult time connecting to the show.  Didn’t care for the drag queen lead.  Liked the technology side of it but they can do better IMO.

I'm going to pass this time; I doubt the 7th time will be the charm.  😲

 

I do plan to see We Will Rock You for the 7th time.  🙂

We watched Pixels a few times when we were on Ovation last fall. Kids loved it so they wanted to watch it again.

Was curious about Spectras so pulled up a you tube video and it looks exactly the same as Pixels.

I saw Pixels in January and Spectra in March - couldn’t tell the difference except the name change. Not my favourite show.

It is the same show, the name has just changed. The main character Pixel is also the name of a character in RCCLs latest shows on Wonder of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas in The Effectors Shows. Pixel is one of the Superheroes in the show. She is a very distinct character and I believe they changed the shows name on Ovation to avoid confusion rather than have 2 Pixels that are very different.

The show is not great but everyone can go and leave if they don’t like it. I went my first time on anthem and stayed about 15 minutes. Never went back. I also would not sit through we will rock you again after the 2 times I have as it too is stale for me. 
 

Plenty to do on the ship and I plan on going again….
