Love the reporting so far!  Thank You!

Quick (hopefully) question... Do you know who is hosting the Trivia and similar activities, and will they still be on board in July?  The last two times we cruised on that ship, Inez was doing those activities and we are hoping she will be in July!

Thanks!

Mark

And he will still be here in July. I'm at trivia now. 1990s trivia starts in 5 minutes.

Woo hoo, Carol!

You’re on and after all this waiting, finally able to do it. 👍  So happy for you and all of our roll call.  I hope you all have a fantastic time.

I’m looking forward to following along with whatever posts you have time to do.  Every single one is appreciated 🙂  I so wish I was with you as planned 😢

Sorry to hear about the Flam tour, though.  Hoping the train or something alternate will give you some joy there.

Have a great time!

Jacquie, I wish you could have been here, too! You were an incredible help to me with my planning and with the amazing spreadsheet.

I see from the Daily posts you now have had Ivan join you. He is a handsome boy!

No, I'm not noticing any more vibration or noise from any other cabin we've had, but that is a small sample size. This is the lowest deck we've been on and I did have an aft cabin on NA (deck 7). There is noise from the wake when you're on the balcony though.

Loungers + wake noise = naptime

I can’t wait - hope it’s warm enough in July

I'm out there every day and at each sail away. I just use the blanket and snuggle in!

Great - many years ago we had an aft cabin on an Alaska cruise and I love getting up early in my pj’s and watching us go into port.  I envision this being similar.  I love aft cabins and the sound of the wake so soothing for the soul.  Can’t wait to experience the music venues too.  This is why I chose HAL (1st timers).  Usually sail Celebrity or Azamara.

Have a great trip, I look forward to reading your updates! I'm sailing on NS in July/August.

ExpatBride, Sounds like we're on your cruise! What do you plan to do in Eidfjord??

Only 69 more days!

My SO is going kayaking. I'm staying on the ship. We live in Denmark, so going to Norway isn't a big deal for us. We're mostly cruising for the scenery.

Yesterday's port was Alesund. What a beautiful city with some great architecture and lots of hills lol. After hiking, stair climbing on the ship and our exploring Alesund my legs are feeling it today! I made a deal with them to take it easy this morning and head out to explore Trondheim after lunch today.

My favorite part of our visit to Alesund was visiting Sunnmore, an outdoor museum. Fron right outside the port we took city bus #1 to the museum. It was about a 15 minute ride and the bus dropped us off a short walk to the entrance. We first walked to the nearby Medieval Museum. It was closed today due to the holiday but there were some signage and photos to look at and it was a very pretty setting.20230518_115111.thumb.jpg.f297237e798baca20a01bb4e01a65a2b.jpg20230518_120657.thumb.jpg.5914dc53e6a536f1768c1954d25211de.jpg

Leaving the Medieval museum grounds there was a path that leads, uphill of course, the Sunnmore grounds.

We started our visit there with a stop at the Burgund Church. Baptism services were just ending with the children and families in traditional dress (photo used with permission)20230518_1227053.thumb.jpg.abd211f6fd804a4dc3c7b68117a673e4.jpg20230518_123133.thumb.jpg.715a64f4ff80db70ebc481eb7d2136f1.jpg

Wrapping up our visit to  Sunnmore Museum. The buildings on display were quite interesting and many were open for a look inside. The paths thru the property were well packed gravel with small hills. I did see someone there using a motorized wheelchair

Also, when leaving the property you want catch the bus across the street from where you arrived. The stop you want will be to the left a bit down the street.

Yes, the punishment fit the crime!20230518_125652.thumb.jpg.4f1f69cdd864ef591311a361deb09d8c.jpg20230518_125322.thumb.jpg.2824aaf0debdf71d9e3c3e13b520d34f.jpg20230518_124716.thumb.jpg.ad3618d72de41693b99081b6d2242939.jpg20230518_124402.thumb.jpg.96c63ca27b03f3f8a4d9858280c9a749.jpg

I'll ask him tomorrow.

And if you see Gede or Uman will you please send him the greetings from Joost and Magdalena, who left 4150 May 14th? and if you please will be so kind: will you try to ask Beverage server Carina (maybe in the BB King) whether she received my package with supporting stockings May 14th? After disembarkation my son in law brought them and I handed them to a young woman of port security. She promised to find a way to bring them on board. (Guest Service, Ship Security, Port agent, nobody could tell me the right way to handle this 🙂 after disembarkation.)  I hope they will bring some comfort to Carina's legs..... Thank you very very much and I hope this question does not consume too much of your holiday time.  🤝
