Our fare has dropped

We cruise sept 9,2023 and it looks like the fare for our same category with plus is $400 cheaper.

should I call and ask for obc? 
also mini suites used to show as not available and now they are available.

anyone had any success ?

Has that worked in the past?

The standard rule of thumb has been:

 

Final Payment locks you in to your current fare.

Price drop for "New Bookings only".

 

The standard answer is no, but what do you have to lose if you ask??

- for OBC difference

- re-fare

 

Your category needs to be available.

There's absolutely no harm in calling, as long as you won't be disappointed if they don't give you anything. This was many years ago, but on our Hawaii cruise the price dropped significantly after final payment date. I called and asked if there was anything that could be done (understanding they would probably say no). They didn't give me OBC, but they did upgrade me to an aft balcony because it was now a lower price than what I paid for a regular balcony. I was completely happy with that!

I think they’re referring to the latest implementation of charges for the casual restaurants and room service charges.  Princess did not inform guests about these changes even after final payment.  Thus, not getting what they paid for.
