Labor Day Weekend here  at Jones Beach,  Long Island NY..  always belonged to Jimmy.

 

This year one of the best Tribute Groups was booked instead...Sadly or fittingly,   it turned into a Special Tribute..sold out so we could not go!

One song? He had many more hits and as above noted, was quite a business man, author, pilot, etc.  My favorite song is "Come Monday" . I expect its "all right". now.

Jimmy had far more than just one hit song, although only made #1 on the charts for many weeks. But others are still getting radio play on pop/rock stations in my area. Yes, before his death. He was involved in restaurants, bars, and even a cruise line. Pretty darn good businessman, as well as a musician.

Yesterday in remembrance of Jimmy Buffett RC handed out complimentary margaritas on every ship from 5pm-6pm. Kudos to RC. 🍹
