Labor Day Weekend here  at Jones Beach,  Long Island NY..  always belonged to Jimmy.

This year one of the best Tribute Groups was booked instead...Sadly or fittingly,   it turned into a Special Tribute..sold out so we could not go!

Hope link works!

I know that this sounds weird coming from someone my age (35), but I grew up on Jimmy Buffett. My entire family were HUGE Parrot heads. He was a huge influence on my musical taste and even in the activities I do with my seniors (Activity Director here). When I started to play Ukulele, one of the first books I got was dedicated to Jimmy Buffett songs. He will be missed in this house!

Parrot Heads are Everywhere..we mostly liked the music and relaxed mellow.

. Hope they have good ( as opposdd to X style) Cheeseburgers in the "Real Paradise!"

James W Buffett.
In my life of 65 + years his music was always a positive inspiration for me.
Something to take my mind to a happy place when times were not the best.🌴😎

He and his music will always be someone and something that take me to a happy 😃 place.

Thanks again and Bon Voyage James

Jimmy had far more than just one hit song, although only made #1 on the charts for many weeks. But others are still getting radio play on pop/rock stations in my area. Yes, before his death. He was involved in restaurants, bars, and even a cruise line. Pretty darn good businessman, as well as a musician.

One song? He had many more hits and as above noted, was quite a business man, author, pilot, etc.  My favorite song is "Come Monday" . I expect its "all right". now.

Obviously.  But my post was about the fact that his empire was built off of Margaritaville.
