Rare JamieLogical Posted September 22, 2023 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2023 You can get espresso-based coffees like lattes and cappucinos from any bar (they have espresso machines) and it is covered under the drink package. If you go to the specialty coffee venues, like Jean Philippe, it is not covered.

Rare Best Cat Mom Posted September 22, 2023 #9 Share Posted September 22, 2023 We "teach" the YC bartender to make what we call Holiday Coffee: over ice, 1 shot espresso, 1 shot Bailey's, 1 shot Kahlua, 1 shot Coconut Rum. We find it best just after breakfast, before moving to Bloody Marys. 🙂 6

I have them add a shot of Bailey's to mine. (Have also ordered it as dessert in Luminae)

First had it in Cancun in the 1980s and have loved it ever since.
mnpurple Posted September 23, 2023 #13 Share Posted September 23, 2023 I am getting some really good ideas here, too bad my next cruise is still several months away. We will be at an all-inclusive sooner and I might test some of these ideas there!

Can't help you at an AI, but Holiday Coffee should be known on Divina, Fantasia and Seaside by now. 🙂
mnpurple Posted September 23, 2023 #16 Share Posted September 23, 2023 @Best Cat Mom And I thought i was clever ordering a shot of Bailey's with my coffee. I might mix it up with a little Frangelico and the coconut rum for a little coconut almond delightfulness.

mnpurple Posted September 23, 2023 #18 Share Posted September 23, 2023 @Itchy&Scratchy You are right! I don't want that then. I meant Amaretto. I'm one of the few that thinks hazelnut is over-rated!

Rare Ottawa_Cruiser Posted September 24, 2023 #22 Share Posted September 24, 2023 They have the best coffee of any cruise line I’ve been on. And yes, included in beverage package.
wayne_trisha Posted September 24, 2023 #23 Share Posted September 24, 2023 Even the included coffee is great. When the lines are long we skipped them and enjoyed the free coffee. Way better than other lines.
Rare DaKahuna Posted September 24, 2023 #24 Share Posted September 24, 2023 How's the coffee in the room or from room service? We are in a YC1 and it's our first time sailing MSC. We normally avoid the room service coffee machines, opting instead for hot water to make our own green tea. We stopped ordering coffee with room service as it always tasted burnt and or old and bitter.
MrJulius Posted September 26, 2023 #25 Share Posted September 26, 2023 Is there a spot in YC that does fresh coffee, cappuccino, etc? Thanks MrJulius
