They had an interesting chat on ABC radio about that a couple of weeks ago. It was thought that he was selling-out his own, but was only selling-out a competing clan.

It gets better when you reach the ocean, with beautiful views of Moreton Island sand hills, then the passage to Caloundra.

Yes, DW had a call from her parentals who are onboard. Meanwhile we’re sweltering here in Grafton, NSW, with mercury expected to top out at 40° today. 🥵

hi cheznandy, wondering if you have heard any mention re whether after will be any changes to the itinerary for the next voyage given the news of cyclone damage in vanuatu? we board on sunday & are scheduled to go to luganville, vila, mystery island thurs-sat next week? thanks

Some of the islands were hit hard, but I believe Port Vila & Luganville were pretty much spared. Mystery Island (and Lifou) should also be OK as the remnants of the storm should pass well away.

 

The worst affected islands appear to be Pentecost and Malekula, and Ambrym has had buckets of rain.

Hey guys...just departing Hobart, CD just announced 5 metre swells tonight around the time of show so may be cancelled. Captain is going to hug land to reduce impact but that means no casino till later. Gamblers won't be happy as they have been without for 2 days re overnight Hobart.

Wish us luck....calm now cruising out the river with the sun setting, lovely view in Colony Club aft.
