Coddiwomple: "To travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination"

This word "Coddiwomple" just popped up on one of my feeds.

How many posters are always looking for the next destination, no matter where the journey will lead?

Despite many negative comments about the cruise industry, many of us still want to travel, somewhere, somewhen, somehow.

How many of us have this travel gene, this urge to go somewhere, whether it is unique or just wanderlust?

I took my first cruise when I was 12, so I guess I got the 'gene' from my mother. 😁

My husband took his very first cruise (at my insistence) and loved it. We now share our hodophilia usually sailing on TA's as the ships have become the destination.

Thanks for the “word" of the day. 💜

Never traveled when younger and am making up for lost time. The clock is ticking!

When I was young, if they were renting cabins for $100.00, all I could have done was run down the dock hollering "Ain't that cheap?"  😁
