Does this mean that we have an old ship?

The ship is about 24 years old, refurbished 2 or 3 years ago. We cruised on her twice when it was Pacific Princess and fell in love with her. Just a comfortable fit for us. A bonus is we love TA cruises. Our last cruise on this ship was Rome to Fort Lauderdale. It is definitely NOT a Carnival or RCCL large ship experience. And it appears there are over 80 cabins showing empty at this time so crowding will not be a problem. Not that it ever was.

Thanks for this.  Looking forward to the cruise.  We have been on a couple of Azamara cruises, pre-covid of course, but I don't remember which ships.  We also found them comfortable.

At White Night tonight Captain Gianmario confessed all, and offered total transparency as to the power outage that happened as we left Livorno.

Apparently a fuse blew in his hair dryer 😂

I can understand why with that head of hair 😂

Also on Onward just now and situation handled well byCaptain G, but the situation with compensation is causing some upset, some guests get offered 50% off next cruise whilst some get a smaller amount of refundable OBC dependent on where they booked the cruise and whether it was booked direct or through an agent, and at a public forum they failed to mention that. Situation ongoing.

Seems a little unfair if that’s how it’s being handled

Seemed generous comp for what sounded like a short issue?

Boarding Onward week on Thursday so fingers crossed issue is completely resolved 🙂

We missed Monaco and 5.5 hours in Barcelona (docked at 6.30pm instead of 1pm for an overnight stay) and gained an afternoon in Livorno, the issue was resolved in 18 mins and was a "board" in an electrical cupboard that failed, they swapped it out and everything was fine (Captain G told me this) but Italian red tape (Livorno harbourmaster) caused the extra delays.

You should fine to cruise as we had no issues the rest of the trip and it was a fantastic cruise.
