I walked into port and the wind was some to my back. I don’t think we are using thrusters because the wind is pushing us against the dock. But Magic has the wind pushing her away from the dock.
Guest cabins on Seashore start on deck 5. There is also a deck 19.  I95 and the medical center on deck 4.

That makes sense. They have turned them down enough I got some rest so I'm thankful for that at least.

Carmival ships are typically 100% booked up 😞. If the thrusters aren't on and running all day it's momentarily annoying and then back to sleep.

Best they would probably offer me is a drink voucher MAYBE some on board credit if I complained loud enough neither of which I need.

Cruise ships are not usually totally 100% booked up. They always leave a few empty cabins to cope with plumbing catastrophes and the like.

Now anyone who complains of the food On Cunard is nuts. The salt and pepper situation is something they should be ashamed of, but the food itself was sublime 😋

I think there are a number of people who go on Cunard just to complain about the food, when they have inventoried the rust patches. Cruet monitoring needs a higher level of sophistication of course.

On my sailing in October on the Queen Elizabeth the cabin steward once made eye contact with my wife.  I can tell you we went straight to the purser to make sure he was flogged severely.  You can't let standards slip.

Unhappy people can always be unhappy with issues that don't exist 🙂. That's why I take any review with a grain of salt.

Preferably from a matched set of shakers.

They used to have sauces you could add to your fries. Aioli, Siracha, something else maybe honey mustard. Those I guess have gone the way of the custom omelet.

Blue Iguana is where I hit up sauces.

The benedict was perfect. I didn't know it was possible to get such a good benedict from the buffet. Very good.

Buffet also will not customize an omelet.

I had zero luck on Horizon with Eggs Benedict. Always cooked through and hard by sitting under heating lamp, never fresh like HAL.

They were still doing custom omelets and fried eggs at the omelet station.

I can't remember about Blue Iguana eggs. I was thinking I saw fresh, but I can't remember.

The ones on Carnival do that, call you by your first name, and worst of all leave demonic animals made of towels in your room to keep you in line!

Best nip it in the bid now before standards hit that level.

I don't remember the last time I got a good one from the buffet. That heat lamp destroys them usually.

They had huevos Rancheros so had the ability to do eggs, but would not make her anything fresh. Not sure this is policy now or they just didn't want to do it for her.

Fried eggs were available at the omelet station and the omelets were made fresh, but they did not offer the ability to customize them.

I don't claim to know an authentic taco, but in my mind a taco is crunchy. A soft taco is just a tortilla.

A tortilla filled with salsa that should have been replenished but it's about closing time so now it's just juice, becomes a soggy gross mess.

I ate the fish it was good. So was the cake.

Have not even begun my walk yet I am not sure that box is getting check off today. Going to try to work on some of that, but heading to the sauna first.

That's awesome princess76021!!  Every pound you lose is taking off 4 pounds of pressure on your joints.  Big hugs to you🥰

I can only report consistently good and properly runny benedicts at Carnival buffets.

I don't have a lot of experience with aft cabins because of the tendency for vibrations. I've either been very lucky until now, or very unlucky this trip.

I did not notice any vibrations last week deck 1 Starboard side. There was some in the floor that caused my scale to malfunction but nothing noticeable in everyday use.

This week on port side it is the worse I have ever experienced. The noise in my room every morning is unlike anything I've ever experienced and I once had a room right over the anchor with two tender ports.

I have a hard time describing it. Think of an unbalanced washing machine. Now imagine five to ten unbalanced washing machines in a row, in a small room trapped in an echo chamber.

My last three cruises were in aft cabins on Magic, Mardi Gras, and Celebration.  Never felt any disturbing noise or vibration on any of them.  For my next cruise on Magic, I decided to change and booked a midship cabin on deck nine just for the proximity to the casino and dining room.  Seems like I made the right decision.

About 15 minutes ago the ship received a distress signal and we have altered course to provide assistance.

Mike informed us everyone is ok and safe but require emergency assistance.

The ship is really pitching now I am not sure if it is the sea state, the fact we have slowed down, or both.

I don't see how the show will be able to be performed not that that is the priority, just an observation. Hopefully everyone is indeed OK and we will be able to provide the assistance those in peril need.

Isn't this true only for Brunch, and they are available on Lido deck?

Unfortunately it is also true at Lido. And because they were made fresh, the lines were still quite long so the idea of saving time is obviously not the real rea$on.

I'm going to bring you along to pick out my benedicts for me 😀. I don't usually have success. Does not stop me from eating them anyway 😆

Hello over there 👋

I think they include crew decks in the count and skip 17 for superstition but it is indeed still a very tall ship.

I have only heard of floor 13 being eliminated due to superstition.  What does the number 17 have, besides being my birthdate😉
