11:40 Still waiting to depart for port on the air-conditioned shuttle.  It is 80 and partly cloudy.  Art Basel is happening this week.

Huge tourist draw for Miami.

Jingle Bell Rock is playing.🤣🤣🤣IMG_9214.thumb.jpeg.70438647f515df90e91331ffa5789c46.jpeg

Oops!😬🤣🤣

We did an inside on the Seashore.  Not as much storage but with a little creativity you’ll be fine.   Plenty of room on the YC deck and lounge though!! Have the best time ever!

Jumping on board to see how the comparison comes out.

We were having lunch yesterday with cruise friends and we were discussing the changes with X and wanting to try new ships. We are both Elite + and cruise exclusively X and RCCL.

We have 28 days on a B2B2B2B on Ascent and Beyond this winter. May be the last for a while. 🤔

Thank you for sharing.

Cheers!

John,

How much will this cost for one device?

I am not sure but I have heard $10 per day mentioned.  My understanding is that the YC Concierge can take care of it without you having to go to the internet desk.

We've parked there - once!
Ended up getting an Uber to and from the port of Miami.
I'm a wee bit impatient....could be the NYer in me.

Elite +

Same here - Have several very long cruises (28N combined with a change in port & ship 14N SBS and a 43N) booked w/ another line and have not had one single email with an y "tweaks" in services.  We also have 6 Celebrity cruises booked through 2025.

As shareholders in both cruise companies (CCL/RCL) - we are sadly discouraged w/ all the tweaks and changes the new management at Celebrity continues to usher in.
I fear "they" either do not know their demographic or (gasp) are looking to change their demographic.

Just sayin'

On board and seated in MSC Yacht Club Restaurant at 1:00.

Thank God for butler escorts.

Throngs of people everywhere.

14 in our escorted elevator ride.

Yes, I realize I am not comparing apple varieties.😇

Restaurant is very chocolate brown.

DH recognizes a boomerang theme in here.

He like garbanzo octopus soup.

i didn’t.🤣🤣🤣

Back side of orchid arrangement.  I was enamored with it perhaps as a diversion to my starter.  I was not a fan of the consistency of the puree ala garbanzo bean with octopus.

Main of beef was fine.

My dessert trio was incredible.  Canola, tiramisu, and panna cotta.  DH has cheesecake with chocolate sauce.  He like it.

Good morning from Nassau and Day 2 in the Yacht Club on board MSC Seascape.

I have a bit of catching up to do.

We have the Browse internet and no issues until we go up to Deck 20.  Connectivity and reconnecting depends on where you are located on the One Pool Deck.  I think I may have found my spot.

So let’s see if this goes….

Why do a  full  MSC  review here on X Board..?

Why not just link to the MSC Board..?

And then do a comparison when on Summit.

Maybe because it is convenient for people, like me, who are interested, without us having to visit the MSC Board?

Ok it looks like that was a success.

Woke up before 4 to check CruiseMapper app to find friends also en route.

I will try a pic or two or nine.🤣

Well, well, well.  There is our lady backing in now.  Seascape is indeed larger and taller.🤣

We slept through sail in.  I walked the two flights of stairs up to Deck 20 to find two pool butlers unsecuring and unstacking the padded loungers. I staked out my choice of cabanas shortly before 7.  There was really no need to.  There are more than enough padded loungers for all of us.  This spot should provide shade and serenity for the morning.✌️☺️

Breakfast is ready, but no coffee until 7.  Really?!?🤨

IMG_9358.thumb.jpeg.9af5bbd3714557514efa0938fbd12272.jpeg

DH and I met up for coffee and YC breakfast buffet.  We made loose plans to check out the new port area in Nassau for an hour or two at some point before 3:30 all aboard.

After breakfast I returned to my cabana to find very polite and gracious pool butler Ellan had prepared my serenity space with towels.  Upon my return he asked if he should bring additional towels.  Lovely.  More to come….

i guess..but the X Board is getting more reviews for Virgin, MSC, etc.

By going to the Boards for those lines, one gets a more complete picture beyond one review..

I am looking forward to the Summit review!

Good morning!  Thank you very much for reading.  Sorry if the current content is Seascape heavy.  I will try and provide more comparative content now and later for those that seem to be curious.  We are just super excited to be back on any ship.  We recognize several key items for us that we can easily find on Celebrity that do not exist here or we have not yet discovered them.

The equivalent of a Cafe Al Bacio would be one.  Our first lunch and dinner in the MSC Yacht Club Restaurant were fine.  Dessert has been the best course for me so far, but I love dessert….🤣🤣🤣

If my memory serves me right, our most recent experiences in Luminae in October 2021 on board Equinox exceeded yesterday’s dining experiences.  I realize that may seem like a lifetime ago to some.😉

There is an army of staff in the YC Restaurant and waiter Mark is doing great.  Of course, we never experienced a shortage of waitstaff in Luminae either.  Luminae is a much more beautiful and luxurious dining environment on M- and S-class ships compared to here.

Enjoy your day!😃

As a frequent Celebrity cruiser I find it great that other Celebrity cruisers post reviews of different cruise lines on the Celebrity board. When I go to the MSC board, I am reading reviews from many who are often MSC fans. When a Celebrity cruiser, especially if they are loyal to Celebrity, posts a review of a different cruise line I give it more value. It is much more convenient to have the content in one place. Yes, there are more reviews of other lines on the X board because people are becoming disappointed in X.

I went back to suite to freshen up before 9:00am.  Room was freshened up too.  Bed is perpendicular to the ship.  Art is sea life inspired.  Headboard and ottoman (under desk) are upholstered in matching gray, thin, satiny, wipeable, polypropylene-like material.  Carpet and chair are gray.  We found room for all of our belongings.  My odd-shaped case does not go under bed and sits between closet and desk.  More suite pics available is there is a request.  I will cheerfully oblige.😃
