Rare hcat Posted March 1 #4 Share Posted March 1 They used to have a vendor looking type cart at the entrance of EDEN..They had some magazines, and books but not very much! Bring your own books or a tablet. You can get the daily crossword and sudoku at Guest Rel

NorthernLights45 Posted March 2 #6 Share Posted March 2 No official onship library. Recently cruised on the Beyond and noticed a shelf with books that seemed to serve as an unofficial book exchange. It was located in Eden, on the upper balcony level, on the "interior" side of the balcony level (not the balcony area by the aft windows). Somewhere between 1-2 dozen books. Would be a good idea to bring your own reading material.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted March 2 #7 Share Posted March 2 Sure does... In Eden on the walkway ramp they have a shelf with about 20-30 books that may have been left behind. Originally they had a little (LITTLE) cart with books on it. I'm definitely stretching the definition of Library. "a place in which literary, musical, artistic, or reference materials (such as books, manuscripts, recordings, or films) are kept for use but not for sale. b. : a collection of such materials."
Northern Aurora Posted March 2 #8 Share Posted March 2 On the Edge the Captain's Club office has two shelves for donated books. Is there a similar arrangement on the Beyond?

Is there a similar arrangement on the Beyond? As said there is a shelf on the upper level above Eden. On our last cruise there were always books there. Most but not all, in English. As many as 20 "books". A passenger set up a book exchange there two mornings on a TA. Announced in daily program.
