Thanks for offering to answer questions.  If you have the drink package how does ncl do it out of Galveston? Did you notice if they are selling vibe passes at customer service or somewhere else on the ship on embarkation day?

NCL has some liquor on board which they've paid the Texas state liquor taxes on.  Only those can be served unit out of Texas waters.   You drink package will work as normal but only for the Texas liquor.  Once free of Texas, everything is available.

I was in search of cookies all week! They said they're only included in the kids meals in the dining rooms, and they wouldn't give me one!

Cookies only available at CoCos.  I hear they're free.

Nope. But you can walk all the way around Deck 8. Can't really run, though.

We did that a few times, but it was much harder on our itinerary, London (Southampton) to Reykjavik. We tried to take advantage of deck 8, but we could see how it would have been much better in a warmer climate.

Thank you for taking the time.
What time were cabins ready and any suggestions for embarkation day lunch.

We will be in a  regular Balcony Cabin.
Is your cabin noisy?
Thanks again.

It's been reported that CoCo's is the only place with cookies.  Part of the free stuff.

I've always sailed on Jewel class and Sun class.  I found CoCo's!! Thanks!

I was just watching a youtube video that is maybe 4 months old and they showed COOKIES in the Observation Lounge between 3PM and 5PM!  I wonder if that is still happening?

There were limited bars open in Galveston, but you could get a drink. They charged 8.25% sales tax. Didn't notice a limited menu, but I did notice the beers had texas written on them. VIbe was sold out by the time we were aboard. at 1. They had a sign out saying that as soon as you got on the ship.

We booked late in January and its my wife son and I traveling. They didn't have a balcony available for 3, so I am in the 13539 solo cabin. It is very quiet. My wife is in 12730 and she says it is fine. We have friends on 16 that are complaining about deck chairs above them.

We were on the Prima for the 1st time in January.

Pretty hopping cruise---it was during the playoffs out of Galveston so not surprising.

Had a great time.

Only complaint is the lack of flow on this ship. But then again, was on the Carnival Splendor in February & it made the Prima look "flowy"

Lines for Syds (our fav) were INSANE--began 75-90 min. early.

Food was best we have had on NCL.

They cancelled the price is right. I will let you know about the donna summer show. I heard others talking about it and I think it is going to happen. I will let you know.

Canceled for the night or overall? What was the reason? Interesting…

Can you post a picture of the dailies? Thanks in advance!

I am saving them, but it is a pain in the rear to send pics. Even though I have the streaming internet, I have not been able to send pics. I was able to facetime my family at home, so not sure why I cant send pictures. I will upload when the cruise is over.

So far, I don't really understand all of the negativity (Reviews) about this ship. It is a little difficult to navigate, but its not horrible. Chairs are available by the pool, indulge was crowded, but i was able to get a table for lunch yesterday. The only real complaint is that you HAVE to get reservations for just about everything as soon as you are allowed. Specialty dining MUST be reserved months in advance if you want a decent time. The best thing to do is book for 2 multiple times and then ask them to combine your reservations. We have a party of 9 and have 4 reservations for 2 and they allowed us to sit 9 at onva last night. Everyone on board gets free drinks, so it may take a few minutes in the morning to get a bloody mary or mimosa, but after 12 most of the bars are open and it lightens the traffic.

On day one, I started tipping a dollar for each drink. I had a bartender tell me when and where he would be the next day. Surprisingly the bartenders dont all stay at the same bar. I guess there is a reason for that.

There should be a picture board somewhere.

Usually at the CC Meet and Greet, they had out cards with all the Hotel Officer names and their phone numbers.
