Interested to know if anyone has used OBS for:

1.  Buying a commodore or captains wine collection?

2.  Paying corkage charges?

Thanks.

Yes, OBC can be used for  'Anything you purchase onboard' with the exception of Casino or Medical.

OBC can only be used once onboard, unlike some other cruise lines it cannot be used for pre purchasing before embarkation.

We usually buy the Wine packages pre-cruise, but having been disappointed with the selection in the Commodore's collection on our last two cruises we're going to wait until we board before purchasing. We've a huge amount of OBC because of the triple OBC special offer, for November's QA cruise, which we'll struggle to spend.

I don't buy wine packages in advance. I want to see the list before I buy.

If you have extra OBC, consider a pass to the thermal suite. That's my favorite indulgence on board QE or QV.

Also, can’t be used as a full or part deposit for future cruises booked onboard.

Zeg,

Is OBS similar to OBC, On Board Credit?

Thanks

Jack

On board spend and on board credit are the same, just depends on the cruise line. Apologies for any confusion.

Yes, that's the one we're on in Nov

Just after ours (H426), and we also have an abundance of OBC.  We will try to leave some premium wines behind for the rest of you.
