$25 Casino FunPlay - Carnival Venezia

Recommended Posts

Hello.

All Platinum members get a free $25 Casino FunPlay. On the Venezia, do you only get this at the Casino by signing up? Is this loaded onto your Sail & Sign card or do they give you cash?

Lastly, if you're not a frequent gambler, is there a possibility of having this transferred to non-refundable on-board credit at guest services?

You must go to the cashier in the casino to get the $25 in funplay. Most of the time it is issued either as slot credit or funplay chips - not as S&S credit. Some ships may still be giving cash (and that is cash, as in a $20 and $5 bills that you can spend on anything) but those are few and far between now.

I have not been on Venezia, but I'm 99.9% certain Carnival would have put the new touch-screen S&S/player bank modules in the slot machines when they converted the ship from Costa to Carnival.  Those modules allow a separate promotional bank that you can only gamble with and not cash out.

If Venezia has those modules, the are giving slot FreePlay as credit to be used on the slots, not cash.

Thank you Dallas.

We were on a B2B in September on Venezia.   The cashier gave us $25.00 in cash both times.  The lines at the cashier were really long on the first day.

Ok, we might try that on the 2nd day then. Thanks!

Been on the Venezia 3 times since Jan. They are not giving cash.

You have to gamble it - but all winnings can be cashed out.

I was on the Venezia in March 2024.  The $25 Free Play was not offered as cash, but only as credit on the slots.  Once you play the $25 through the slots once, any winnings are yours to cash out.

The no-smoking casino is completely separate.  It is its own room.  Unfortunately for me, there is no craps table in the no-smoking casino.

When I was on the Vista last year before the drydock I was able to get chips, they were freeplay chips, but I used them untill I lost them, and walked out of the casino 150 richer.
